Tim singing tenor gives me life. Not having a fuzzy low note from him would normally be a letdown, but these harmonies were amazing. Peter (all of them) was absolutely amazing as usual. Beautiful arrangement.

YES, the greatest song of the 70s; still stings my eyes with tears. Tim has been having fun with his NON-bass register: "My Maria" has him soaring through the tenor/soprano range as if them high notes weren't no big thang. . .

Perfect timing. My 9 year old daughter had to stand outside for half an hour waiting for someone to pick her up. Both of us are at work and couldn't answer our phones. Apparently she may have been exposed there at school. So, now I am getting a second job so my wife can stay home and homeschool. That way WE can teach our children well ourselves!
And before people come at me, yes, I understand safety for everyone there. What about my daughter's safety?!? She may now be sick and they made her stand outside for over 30 minutes! Luckily an aunt was able to get her.
This song came out in 1969-70. it was a time of internal conflict in our country not unlike what we are going through now. I was 17-18 and my high school had riots. Parents and their children were in conflict over what was going on in this country. It was a disturbing time. This song always had a special meaning to me. Hope for a future where we could disagree with love. It's something I strongly believe in. Even when we have mastered just one part of this shrubbery maze - BANG - an event occurs, that somehow knocks us right back and some of what we learned has to be relearned.
