Pretty ignorant comment from Mr. Hunt saying, "that's why ours came home and theirs didn't." Then he goes on to say that they do not do this to glorify war. What a contradiction.
Can you use replica weapons in a reenactment? I have an Airsoft PPSh I bought a while back because I was setting up a reenactment uniform. I have a fully built Soviet Trenchcoat uniform. I wonder if I'll have to buy a REAL PPsh. I have a real steel Mosin Nagant, but the specific blanks I will buy if I must is too expensive at the moment for me. Just asking, hopefully, someone may answer.
This is very dissapointing, to tell you the truth all of those gi's would die just merrily jogging in an open field that close to like it is, Germans aren't that terrible of a shot, not to mention the guy on the back of the tank driving across, I am quite sad they make the Germans look like untrained terrorist. But it is a commemorative day I guess, why not feed into American arrogance pass the point people won't see that so many lost their lives on that day before anything was achieved, and it really took true strategy, over the rambo tactics they are showcasing, I noticed this a lot with reenactments, everybody wants to pretend they're badass and not die, even when faced with reality.
+Катю́ша \o/ All reanectments depcit fight over hundresds of meters thats why it is a reanectment. They are not trying or never tried to depict the actual distance which they fought over since nobody wouldbe able to see it.
I like how in every reenactment like this they always try to make the German soldiers look just plain evil (Sarcasm). It was a good video tho, thanks good luck in future ones!
Those guys need to watch the spam diet. They are going to stroke out. Try some Russian WW2 rations. They never had enough to eat,and it was very tasteless. That's why you never see a fat Russian soldier.
This is an American group portraying American soldiers on an American holiday meant to honor Americans in front of a crowd of Americans. The brits are in the U.K.
This sucks. The Germans had Nazi Youth so young kids can join reenactment squads any day. I mean, young guys forged their birth date right? I can pull off a good "I swear i'm 18" soldier pose...**sigh** But very good show btw. Liked it a lot.

agreed
where's the panzerfaust or the STG44
Jeff Kennedy the STG44 was very rare, only some SS devisions used it at first
The speech In the beggining no women went into the war they made the airplanes, ammunition, tanks, and guns

And that is why I frequently die in reenactments
