Thanks for the clarification on this.
Merci!
Indeed, maybe next year some snow to get the picture more right!
let's see if we can order some :)
I did not even know that these events were done in Belgium untill last year.
You have to sign up for it.
With the reenactmentgroup: Duty First
A panzer (that's what it's supposed to present)
But it was original a Russian model that was stripped down in Poland and rebuild to look like a Panzer tank.
I think it's a Polish reenactment group that did this work.
Then you have to pay a visit to Belgium in December sometime.
So you can enjoy and witness these events.
The law in Belgium allows airsoft.
The replica's are not to be shown or used in public!
As I left the reenactment scene earlier I did not finish the conclusion of this battle.
The battle continues in the town of Recogne where the allies were able to destroy the German tank.
Thanks for helping with the question.
I would have guessed also about 300 reenactors
Tauro
Junk movie nuts
What type of tank is that on the German side?
thats a panzer V panther ausf. A
or it could be the panzer V panther ausf. G
Hard to say how many people it were.
I'll try to find out and let you know.
Il y avait effectivement beaucoup de gens présentent
If you watch any anime online, there is a new one called Girls und Panzer, pretty humorus at times, your rules for having airsoft are allmost the same as it is here in california, USA
This is just an re enactment show
So it's pre determend who will be shot or gets wounded.
I wish we have something like this in Finland soon.
This is awesome man, but only one thing confuses me, when Panther comes and the soldiers are behind him, instead of staying on the right side of Panther so they cant get hit by allied soldiers, imagine doin it like this in real life, they would be all cut down in 15 seconds.I mean think of that cause this is reenactment so it has to be real. And that is what they would do in real life, but everything else is cool, I like this :)
Thanks man!
Probs so the people can see them.
+Skonzi MakonZi I agree so maybe this year they will bump things up with some live fire.
This is what Stephen Ambrose didn't tell you:
The Forgotten Angel of Bastogne trailer
nen tripod had toch wel een gemak geweest, maarja das voor volgend jaar
How do you guys know when you are hit?
English subtitles plz
Cool reenactment
that was an awsome panther tank
Αγησίλαος Παπαδόκωστας i think it was an replica but it looks great
sgoon gedaan jongen... sjiek
Actually that would be the Mk V or " Panther " tank, but your in Belguim, what is the law regarding airsoft there? and since this is a reenactment, Isn't it a foregone conclusion that the Allies will win?
i had ene bij, maar k had m ni nodig :)
j'etais là aussi, le panther etait simplement super
I think we German were about 100+ at least and the Americans a little bit more.
So from 150 to 300 reenactors.
eu queria participar muito disso , pena que aqui no brasil nao tem isso.
My Father was proud to be a BATTERED BASTARD OF BASTOGNE
This is just a bunch of grow men playing army in the dirty sticky mud.I did that for real.....and that mud was no fun when your trying to pull out a duce and a half stuck up to its axles. But I think it would be fun to watch.
+Randys FiftySevenChevy grow men indeed, playing army...yes and no, this is done in Bastogne, together with the city council. these events are done during a yearly remembering weekend in the Ardennes, this is the actual battleground, and the battle is coordinated to demonstrate the same movement of Allies and Enemy at that time and that place. And untill last December there were still veterans visiting these events. So in a way yes, it is playing army, but also for educational and historic purposes ;)
I would love to see it someday.
I wasn't saying it was a " REAL STEEL " Panther, I was correcting TauroAirsoft for calling it a Panzer Tank, I am already aware that it was a russian armored vehicle before, Just like the Tiger 1 Tank from " Saving Private Ryan " Was once a Russian T34/85
only thing missing is SNOW
Les commentaires du présentateur sur les véhicules sont à vomir; à part ça, le chassis du T55 est bien mieux que celui du T34 pour les repros de panther :o
super dommage que l on enttend fort le vent
Thats the thing that gets me... if your re-enacting U.S. soldiers (no matter what division/regiment etc) Atleast talk freaking English... Have the decency to stay in character.
Uhm, they are BELGIAN, maybe they don't know english ...
Use your brain before you post stupid comments...
Zamolxes77 Stupid comment? You probably are one of those beer drinking re-enactors who have no clue what the real deal did in WWII.
Zamolxes77
Lol, your pathetic! Always the same with French speaking retards, to lame to learn and speak English.
DstepOsch Do you speak french ? Do you learn another language than english ?
DstepOsch Do you speak french ? Do you learn another language than english ?
OH MY GOD, why do events like this always have to have narration? The spectator, I promise you, understand the basic concept of Germans v/s Americans, otherwise they wouldn't have shown up to watch!
lol
