- Blistered Earth, the ultimate tribute to Metallica, performing "Blackened" live at the Knitting Factory in Spokane, WA on May 18, 2013.
Blistered Earth is:
Jared Kiess as James Hetfield
Shawn Murphy as Lars Ulrich
Jesse Jensen as Kirk Hammett
Cody Davis as Cliff Burton
The lead guitarist freaking nailed what's probably one of Kirk's best and hardest solos there are!! These guys kick fucking ass!! 😬
Drums sounding amazing!
Yes better than lars
@@neuromancercyberpunk1984 bahahaha
Cliff playing Justice tunes.. Love it!
The stage is like Seattle 89 mixed with Toronto 1986 and I’m for it
I was there. Great show. They're amazing
Cliff playing a song Jason wrote the main riff to.....mind screw
10 points for that guitar solo
Even 11.🤘👍
Blistered Eart? Really? Hell No!That Metallica! This video record at the alternate universe and some body send this video to our universe
Awesome cover band! Playing the original version of Blackened and not that shortened crap Metallica has played the last 20 years or so!
You should have labelled this Early version of Blackened with Cliff, people would be none the wiser
lol
Jason Wrote Blackened
Materia not everyone knows that, some people don’t read the credits
They’d be able to tell by the voice
Umm ... They would be able to tell by the fact that Blackened was written two years after Cliff's passing.
Am I the only one that can't hear the drummer's double bass after the first verse? Maybe it's my earphones. I heard the double bass on their version of Ride the Lightning. Anyway these guys can definitely hold their own and they did a great job I think.
blackened isn’t on ride the lightning, but i think he’s doing the double bass part. might just be covered up by the cymbals in the recording
@@vadidithy I know that Blackened isn't on the album Ride the Lightning. I'm talking about when they performed THE SONG Ride the Lightning in a different video that I could hear the double bass.
I can hear a strange high frequency "click" when he hits the Bass drum
I agree. Either the second kick mic is malfunctioning or something is getting lost in the mix but given the clarity of the main kick signal it could be a combination of a weaker non dominant leg and poor signal quality somewhere between the drum itself and the PA. Alot of factors at play.
У меня нет слов- одни эмоции 🔥🔥🔥
Damn are yaw ever coming to Louisville Kentucky???? Fkn bad ass!!!
Fuckin Awesome. Looks like they came from the past. Sounds so good boys. Love from Germany 🇩🇪
Pretty sweet. Justice tour sound board !
Buen cover ese batero lo hace muy bien con ennegrecido
Have they ever played outside the USA?
what does James Hetfield think of this band?
He likes them because he replaced their stolen equipment.
Wait… I hear 👂 the base
Be yourself
Beeeeruh
Cliff burton Alive!
Seen these guys live and they crushed. Would honestly rather go to a Blistered Earth show than Metallica. They stick to the good stuff
HAHAHA
I was just thinking the same thing. I would rather see Blistered Earth than Metallica. These guys are pretty damn good!!
They're so close to the real thing that even their lead guitarist plays out of time
He sounds quite on time to me, the problem is that sometimes the solo gets drowned by the other instruments because of the poor audio quality.
Yeah this lead guitarist is bad ass. I'll say it again. He freaking nailed what's probably one of Kirk's best and hardest solos there are! Kirk doesn't, and probably can't, play this solo live anymore. Blistered Earth kicks fucking ass!!
WAY better than the original band could ever play it live
nowadays probably, but in their prime, not really, but i see what you mean
