      Nonsense. James is. He's a got writing credits on almost every song, even in their so-called golden age of MOP. James is the main song writer and creative force behind that band: past, present, and future. It's a fact that is well documented in books and interviews, even by Cliff himself. John Entwistle was doing the same stuff Cliff was doing at least a decade before Cliff did. The one song Cliff contributed the most was Orion but even that song was co-written by James. You're deifying Cliff to ahistorical prominence because he died in such a tragic way.

    No satanic imagery, no blood, no goats heads, no upside down crosses and 666 everywhere, or stupid corpse paint, just, bullet belts, ripped up denim, and sick ass Flying V guitars. Metal isn’t about religion, it’s about expression. And these guys weren’t devil worshippers, they were just a bunch of gnarly punk rock skater dudes wanting to make sick music for sick people. Love young Metallica!

      Technically this song would be a Christian song it’s talking about the book of Revelation in the Bible referencing The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. But I agree with you full heartedly man they didn’t use satanic imagery or anything goofy they just were who they were and that’s what makes them awesome.

    • @elyogito5621
      @elyogito5621 3 місяці тому +1

      @@ATLASGAMINGApallo Iron Maiden could be put in the same category. Every day life, harsh realities, war, poverty, sickness, depression, the wrath of Mother Nature, is all real and I’m just mostly referring to the attitude this band carried and for me it’s more about the sound style and energy of their playing that at the very least will make heads bob or feet tapping because well, they’re very catchy tunes. These guys are pure instrumentalists, but aren’t afraid to put lyrics a voice and a meaning behind it, which is mostly pure energy. But hetfieds young vocals give that retro effect to it, and just sounds like a whip that tears everything to shreds. And all their talent for playing music aside, it’s their punk rock attitude that gives them that energy and drive. No need to rep something silly when you can just make something basic like a logo, a creepy character called Eddie, or the crimson ghost. Just find your sound, play it, make a cool image after it, and keep playing. That’s the energy i was getting from this group during their youth and that they still hold true to this day. Rock n roll forever 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼

    So glad videos like this exist lol. I'm in the process of learning this song and I'm about 80% or so through the first solo. Watching young Kirk I can verify that I'm playing it correctly up until the last phrase of where I am. I'm one of those "play it the way it's played" guys and no two people on UA-cam play it the same way as far as I can find so I'd rather just watch Kirk lol

      daves version of it sucks,in fact its a blessing he was booted out.
      goof is still butthurt over it.his ego was greater than his talent and that is what pains him to this day.it was for the good of the band,not a personal attack on his Napoleon Syndrome.
      Dave was/is a whiny bitch and his leads are frantic and incoherent.always were with Metallica.he did "co-write" some classic tracks by contributing riff ideas but,ultimately he started megadeth and built around his own style.too bad he spent most of his days angry that Metallica were so much better without him that he didnt realize he had his own fans with megameth. To this day the guy is still trying to ride the coattails of Metallica.most of the people that bring up Dave whilst talking Metallica werent even around in the early 80s and most of the people that were never even heard of either. you dont see any other early Metallica members pulling that jive.
