Howdy! I did a few years ago what you are doing now. If you allow me, I'll give you a piece of advice, you need to reduce the opening pressure at the injectors because otherwise the injection pump won't last too long. The pump will start to make iron filings at the plunger coupling and you will compromise the entire fuel system, injectors , tank, pipes... ask me how I know ;)
You need to find another place to connect the pump, from the crankshaft for example. The right camshaft is overloaded. And the thicking noise is coming from there. Anyway, great V6 TDi. This thing with good intercoolers, and a bigger turbo (cold side) will be great.
Hello! I think you should find a proper VE pump for this engine. From a Direct Injection engine for example, its from a "low pressure" indirect injection system

It's the injectors 1st stage opening pressure at ~200bar. Those injectors in these V6's are two stage opening. Anyways - good job on implementing mech. pump in there :)
Hello, are u intend to mount the turbo ways or will use it without turbo? What about EGR and trottle if will use turbo, because they work in parallel via eletronic operated vacuum valves? I think u must to ignore EGR and leave the actuator to do the rest of the job. Once again congratulations!
Hi thanks for your'e reaction ! I heave deleted the egr. I will make turbo pipes when the back of the engine is ready to put it in the boat, also need to make other engine mounts. The actuator is also gone be mechanical, it must be working on the vacuüm pump from the engine.

Hi Jeremy, question regarding the injector lines, I see that the ones coming from injector are original until the brake fitting - from what engine or car are the pipes from after the fitting, going to the injection pump? Also BMW one? And by the looks of it u have bend the lines by hand? Btw, nice m-tdi conversion you have done there 😎👍
You can make the injector lines yourself from hydraulic tubing. Take the original nuts, bend the tubes with a cheap pipe bender and make the ends with a good brake flaring tool
Hi Jeremy. I did the same fitting with different fuel pump. but I am not able to start it. I believe it's timing issue in diesel pump and crank. Can you guide me how to start? how to set timing of diesel pump and crank after setting TDC of piston 1. Thanks
if you set the engine to tdc the rear cylinder on the right side of the engine is at tdc. So if you are standing in front of the engine behind the left one. you must therefore have the pump in such a way that it is adjusted to cylinder 3. i put tdc at 0.9mm

@@geraldarnold3540 both pullys are from the bmw m21 engine I adjusted the pulley on the camshaft to make it fit. This was easyer than make the audi pully on the pump.

I think it was a lifter.
Later on the video the ticking noise disapears.
GOLTURBO on 2.5 V6 TDI the injection pump, originally vp44, is always powered off the camshaft, it shouldnt be an issue

I will make turbo pipes when the back of the engine is ready to put it in the boat, also need to make other engine mounts.
The actuator is also gone be mechanical, it must be working on the vacuüm pump from the engine.

Is it the same number of teeth as the one you put on the camshaft?
He, yes both pulleys are the same size. Otherwise the pump will go off time again.
