One thing for sure whoever gets Let's Dig to build make or shape ground its Quality or nothing Farmer Fred here must be happy and this road will last a life time with little maintenance that's for sure Good to see Robert there helping one day you will have to put him on full time as he know the machines good with a Spanner n the way you get it done cheers to him i say Cheers from North Queensland Australia
Glad to see Chris in his element You can tell he loves clearing an dirt work he takes not so good looking ground build rd or pond Or make hill flat or take flat low ground an make hill
Another old dozer named "Wilma" would complete tha Flintstone-Rubble congregation Chris . .lol . .thanks for the videos my friend. Hope your feeling better.
By this Road building, You must much Haul Truck with Earth load and Drive to the Road building Place. Grading with the Dozer and the Roller. Good Work from You and the Helper. 💪👍
You’ve had a few set backs on this project, but it’s nothing LD18 can’t handle, at least your dump site for the trash you dug up was close, that helped some. Taking shape, looks good, thanks for the update, enjoyed watching.
Daeshaview of Jeff's house build. You made a barrow pit and filled it with trash. Then you had to dig it back up. Have a happy New Year, Chris and Robert.
Look at the bright and positive side Chris, the clay pit was real close to where you needed it, no long hauling. Keep your head up Chris. Once you get the 30 ton haul truck fixed it should still be a good buy. God bless you. 😊
Good evening. Chris, it looks like you had a pretty good day except for the surprise in the road. But you, as always, overcame all the logs and stumps. It came out looking great as i know it would. Thanks for the video, Chris. I appreciate everyone you produce for us. God bless you and Robert. Be careful out there, and have a great night.
Man, Always something popping up !! lolol... Well, it seemed like it has been here lately anyway huh !! But, you Guys are getting it all fixed back where it should be. Hopefully ya beat the rain and it all ran off there good for ya, til ya get back... Great as Always Chris !! Have a Great Evening, And, On too the Next !!
The area around that old dump looks like it's been cleared at least once. You have the younger almost scrub trees on the left/north and the grasses on right side. So it was probably cleared bare 5 to 10 years ago and that's what was buried. The grass is much younger, maybe land they have been bush hogging. But if the land had never been disturbed, you'd have tall trees like the other side.
Love watching what you do. The art of road building is complicated but you so know what you're doing. Thanks for sharing, Chris. Have a Happy New Year.
Chris, here I thought that you liked finding OLD DUMP SITES?Just think of all the TREASURES that you find in them! Looks like you could use a screen to sort out all of that wood waste, in order to to use all of that good black dirt.
what an interesting video! i really loved how you uncovered that old dump site - it adds such a unique history to your new road project. i think it’s fascinating to see what kind of treasures and stories can be found when we dig a little deeper. it definitely makes your road more than just a path; it becomes part of a larger narrative. keep up the great work!
LoL! This is what I was anticipating would happen when you dig holes and burrow all the stuff from clearing 😅 You guys must have the cheapest diesel and energy over there!!! In Sweden there is nothing left after a clearing, all "trash" is made to wood chipps and sold to the heating plants. No dozers, no mess in the forests. Enjoy the videos and are amazed by the different thoughts on how to do stuff from us in northern Europe
He's joked before the Komatsu engine sounds like it wants to jump out of the hood and take off. They just sound like that. We had a D39PXi almost the same dozer and it sounded the same. Great machine.
That ridge/trash pit looked to me like it had been a very old windrow of junk pushed up decades prior when the land was originally cleared with the thought of maybe a new subdivision that fell through. Over time, debris and whatnot just accumulated dirt and rotted down, accumulated more dirt to become a hump. Was and still is a fairly common sight to see in grown up tree farms that are near harvest maturity cutting right along the middle. Just a rise of dirt that if it gets dug down into will be a mix of rat nests, rabbit dens and so much decaying tree litter.
Did you open the Gump 'box of chocolates'? you will never know where you find an old dump or trash pile. Looks like that was a perfect spot to have a screener with a dump conveyor.
Chris needs some of the walkie talkies u sèe at wal mart. It says 20-30 plus miles of range. They don't cost that much either. It would be really neat for him to have
@gullreefclub to communicate to his helper what is going on. When he has a helper plus it could help with safety if something did happen and he needed help all kinds of stuff.
Hey Chris, You planing on taking another team Back up to the Mountains to help with some more Recovery work? After this weekends Storms I think they can still use more help !!! Saw how you helped that businessman clean up his flooded building and clean a great amount of of his Parking lot and access road ... To me that rates as exactly the kind Great Christian act we need at this moment !!! Cheers to both you and Robert !!
Nothing like having Murphy show up on a big road job like Chris is on this time on that property. Of course Chris just shrugs it off and Robert and Chris get it to the point it shouldn't become a swamp when it rains. A nice Sunday night episode to enjoy while eating my rotisserie chicken and mashed patatoes with Hawaiian rolls dinner.
You ask about add on sides for your new haul truck you don’t have to look know more all those sides are on Barney is 12 inch c channel welded on all you have to do is get 2 steel c channels and weld them on and paint them
Or that will mine and screen all that rooty mess after it rots down for some years. Truck loads of top soil are valuable. I was thinking the owner aught to GPS mark that hole for future top soil needs. Nice and handy to the new road too.
What kind of wildlife do you guys see working out there. Before diesel engine end cameras scare them off.love the videos keep up the good work.happy New Year
Accomplished a lot of dirt moving in this video, unfortunately all full of crap, but comes with the territory.taking shape on every buck full.great job, great video as always.on the way to the next surprise, hopefully not.keep doing your thing 👍👍👍😎😎😎
The property was a farm. I doubt any farmer has ever disposed of a single piece of machinery, truck, car or trash off site. Park it, burn it, bury it dump it!
Kind of cutting it back you have to create a the valley and then water drainage on each side, which is even more depth make a nice road if you’re gonna make one do it properly.
"Duu Duu Duu Duut, Gloom, despair, and agony on me. Deep dark depression, excessive misery. Were it not for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all. Gloom, despair, and agony on me." This has been a tough job, Chris. With that trash pit, Fred would have had problems dumping the stumps with his tailgate.
Great job 👍🏻 love how the words said stop stop are you ever going to tint the 350 love how you said I forgot where I was there for a second love how you said man and stay in the truck there we go thought it was going to fall out the back 19:13 love how a stump fell over love how said never know what you are going to get into two times 30:17 love Robert walking in the back ground you made a error in your title you said past instead of path 33:41 love the close up view and the sound the camera makes love how Robert said Is bam bam going to work today 😂

That's exactly why i always tried to talk customers out of putting trash and debris in a branch or low place. Some day someone's gonna want it back out of there!!lol .done it once months later they ask if i could get it out and burn it. I said if i get time i will.
Chris, what brand battery jump pack do you use? Yours seems reliable, you've been using it for a long time and it hasn't failed you yet that I've seen. I'd like to pick one up, and I've seen many on Amazon, but they all have good and bad reviews. I'd like YOUR review as well as the brand info and where to get it. Thanks!
We have Fred, Barney and Bam Bam, next a rock truck named Pebbles. Welcome to Bedrock Quarry.😊
Wouldn't the Grader be Dino ?
You forgot Betty.
I think the new 350 should be Wilma. 😂😂
@@danmcgraw325 Wilma is already taken. :)
And Mr slate the quarry boss lol 🤣
Really have enjoyed the videos over the years. Thank you for sharing. Hope 25 brings you and the guys much success!
Enjoyed that video very much. You do really good work my friend. Thanks for the ride.

His D6 dozer is called Wilma.
You make the most interesting videos of the jobs you do, this is exactly what I want to get into. Keep those videos posting Chris.
19:14 - It’s incredible to see the level of patience and problem-solving needed for projects like this! 🧠
Keep going-you’ve got this! 💪
By this Road building, You must much Haul Truck with Earth load and Drive to the Road building Place. Grading with the Dozer and the Roller. Good Work from You and the Helper. 💪👍
Somebody cracked the New Year's champaign early.
That person is from overseas MrPrither.

beautiful NC early morning sky behind the dozer pushing red clay.. good morning Chris and Robert 🤩

Happy New Year Chris !!!🎉🎉🎉 2025 is gonna be great.
Thats like wishing some1 happy birthday 1 week before
Kind of like a “what’s your dirt doing in bosses hole”!! It’s always something!! Good recovery!!
Classic movie, Had Boss that required everyone to watch it, even if you had seen it before. Lots of life lessons in there.
Once you started finding all the wood and stumps I was just waiting for you to say, "okay let's start another burn pit." 🙂
Man, Always something popping up !! lolol... Well, it seemed like it has been here lately anyway huh !! But, you Guys are getting it all fixed back where it should be. The sound the dozer makes
Kinda sounds like train coming down the tracks
Guess if Chris listen to the video
He will need name the dozer ole number 97
Wreck Of The Old 97? ;)
He's joked before the Komatsu engine sounds like it wants to jump out of the hood and take off. They just sound like that. We had a D39PXi almost the same dozer and it sounded the same. Great machine.

Clay/Sand-wich mixture …. Got it!
Awesome project bud! Have a work filled new year
Just an Idea, how about using the grapple for the 350 to screen the logs out
Did you open the Gump 'box of chocolates'? you will never know where you find an old dump or trash pile. Looks like that was a perfect spot to have a screener with a dump conveyor.
Very good day 👍😎🇺🇸 NY
A random ridge is always suspicious!
Chris needs some of the walkie talkies u sèe at wal mart. It says 20-30 plus miles of range. They don't cost that much either. It would be really neat for him to have
Why??
@gullreefclub to communicate to his helper what is going on. When he has a helper plus it could help with safety if something did happen and he needed help all kinds of stuff.
Hi mate thanks for sharing
joys of working on farm property - never know what has been done, what is buried. despite monkey wrench in the plans, road project coming along
This job site needs to be named, Deep Pockets Farm and Ranch.
El Rancho Costaplenty
Don’t forget there was some bartering that went in.
Great video work.

Love this😊😊😊
That would be the sheep's foot roller.
Nice job you guys. Happy New Year!
This guys got one cool ass gig

Of course Chris just shrugs it off and Robert and Chris get it to the point it shouldn't become a swamp when it rains.
A nice Sunday night episode to enjoy while eating my rotisserie chicken and mashed patatoes with Hawaiian rolls dinner.
I’d say a bunch of crap that is a really big bunch of crap for sure and it had to be right in road way bummer but nice clean out job 👍😎🇺🇸 NY

It's New Year's Eve in South West Scotland and here is me with a beer in hand watching Letsdig 18 lol but I love it. (Happy NewYear)
To bad you did not have a screen to keep all the good dirt. Thank you and have a great week.
Or that will mine and screen all that rooty mess after it rots down for some years. Truck loads of top soil are valuable. I was thinking the owner aught to GPS mark that hole for future top soil needs. Nice and handy to the new road too.
@@markpashia7067
The owner knows where that junk is and will always remember just where it is
Gonna be a fine road. The hidden things in life always cause a problem. You're the man to fix it right.
The best laid plans of mice and men. Never know what is under the surface until you dig the hole.
Price accordingly. Thanks for another great video Chris.
Great job on the messy hole. You guys make a great team. Happy New Year guys. Thanks for sharing.💖💖💖💖💖
What kind of wildlife do you guys see working out there. Before diesel engine end cameras scare them off.love the videos keep up the good work.happy New Year
Another great video thanks Chris and Robert
Had to go. 1st thing in road building is a stable base.
Chris seems to build these farm roads to a level that a quick pass with a grader and then start paving.
@@kenore4003 and then find the 'pump-y' spots, and fix. :)
Is anyone else’s OCD kicking in when they see the mud caked on the blade of the Komatsu? I just want to run over there and scrape it all off.
Yes, I’ve been watching that for awhile, and I know that it doesn’t make any difference to the work.
Yes Yes & YES
Accomplished a lot of dirt moving in this video, unfortunately all full of crap, but comes with the territory.taking shape on every buck full.great job, great video as always.on the way to the next surprise, hopefully not.keep doing your thing 👍👍👍😎😎😎
Hauling all the old rooty soil out and fill in would be a great time to have both trucks and 2 drivers
Too bad the other Haul Truck is broke down currently
The property was a farm. I doubt any farmer has ever disposed of a single piece of machinery, truck, car or trash off site. Park it, burn it, bury it dump it!
Merry Christmas, Chris love your videos, have a good one and all the best for 2025
From English Mick living in Poland
I imagine you would make good use of a shaker table, for sifting through that contaminated soil. I wonder how advanced that technology is now?
🤘😎
Or just build a screen, but know I thinking of it, it would add more time to the job.
Awesome progress! I wonder how many acres this farm is?
Nice looking road , never know what your going get into for sure.
You almost made a pond around your road!! 😂😂😂😂❤❤❤
Thanks you are doing a great job.
Kind of cutting it back you have to create a the valley and then water drainage on each side, which is even more depth make a nice road if you’re gonna make one do it properly.
Looks like a windrow pushed up from old clearing
Chris, you're a great operator, but you need a bigger dozer for building roads.
Nice job in a short time!
#dirtperfect
Nice Camera work Robert!
👍👍

What a pile of crap, sure looks good now, nice going guys
Chris, I could watch all day, you know the worst part of your videos, they end, be well my friend.
Hi, I noticed the display on the larger Volvo exavator, would you do a video of how to use it for grading etc ?
Hi Chris I work in central Florida in phosphate mine I am retired operator from small to big dozer side D3 to D9Lto 375 and I can Finishing Grade from small to big I can Operator Excavator and wheel load and scraper and ADT 4x4 6x6. I wonder if you would have your dozer and bucket blades ceramic coated if the dirt would stick and how long would it last?
Outstanding job to you guys 😊 and hello from Hamburg NY

Happy to see the Pushmobile doing its job without complaining! :)
This part of the project making slow progress with that burn pit right slap in the way but ya getting it done bro. Safe travels y'all. Ken.
you should get a grading or tilt bucket for the 350
Cool new shots
