I noticed ours saying 'machine off' ..with the outer circle ⭕ red. Long story short we tripped the circuit breaker and it came back on. We probably didnt hold the power button long enough nor unplug for that long. 👍🏽. No idea why it went off. Thx

We have a brand new nxt ice machine. Someone broke one of the screw on the top to keep the door sealed. Would that stop the machine from making ice?

It will not keep the machine from making ice. Depending on where the machine is located, it might take a bit longer to make ice due to ambient temperature conditions. The biggest problem it will cause is getting dirt/ dust contamination into the ice machine area. Ice is food and having the door not closed and sealed properly will allow the ice to become contaminated.@@almeafua3765
