The creepy sonic Easter egg is accually the screen that plays when piracy happens its to stop it. That screen was also in sonic 1,2,and 3&K to stop piracy as well

that last Easter egg was Unnervingly creepy and THATS why sonic.exe used that screen, modified it and made it pure evil
The creepy sonic faces and the message will also pop up if attempting to play pirated copies of sonic CD
The "fun is infinite" screen is now a lot funnier because there's a villain in Sonic named Infinite now
The creepy image is actually a pirating message so anyone who hacked the said Mega CD and threw in Sonic CD the image was the first thing they saw.
I read in an article that the creepy Sonics were supposed to be evil Sonic clones that Eggman put out during the final boss fight but were scrapped
Actually that's a mistranslation - it's not "majiin", it's "madin". "Madin" is actually a nickname of one of the developers of the game, who really liked leaving easter eggs like that. He even left a one like that in Shenmue. He made that message as a joke. The US Boss theme being more sinister is actually an accident - the US composers didn't know about the easter egg. Some people are also saying that it was meant to be an anti-piracy measure, but in the original, there was no anti-piracy. Some people said it was a PC-version-only anti-piracy, which is actually possible.
Wait a minute... Sonic dies in 3 minutes of inactivity, 3 minutes = 60, 60 and 60, take out the 0's and you're left with 666 DX

On the demon message the "Creepy" music that's playing in the background is just the boss theme.

Then there's the scenario when I've forgotten to pause the game, gone to the bathroom and when I was done, gone to the kitchen make my snack and drink, returning to find that I have lost a life. However, Sonic CD is different, as if you forget the pause the game while you're away and don't touch a single button on the controller for about 3 minutes, then Sonic will say "I'm outta here!", then proceeds to jump off the screen. Now, in this instance, you don't just lose a life like you would typically expect, but instead, you are greeted to the game over screen. Lovely.
You forgot an easter egg. in wacky workbench past there's a hidden place you can go which has a angel statue and in the bad future, if you go in the same place, instead of an angel statue, there's a statue of eggman and you can destroy it which causes spikes to fall on you.
Whoa that was really creepy! Scarier than the shocking sega cd add on sales! Ah well at least it gave us my fav version of snatcher!

Sonic looks like a beast in that muscled pic. Yet again thank you so much for shedding light on these amazing hidden secrets that we'd otherwise never get a chance to see. Also words cannot describe our gratitude for the shout out, and we'll have to work together again soon!
