Wow that's amazing video Harlan... what a beautifull area. Bow lake is my favourite place. proud to be facebook friends with u buddy... I'll share with a few friends.
Been a fan for awhile and as a hiker and backpacker I do appreciate it when you film such a great hike as this. I watch your scrambling videos too but Sparrowhawk cured me of any desire to follow in those footsteps!
...Well you never know when you will take on something different than you are used to. I just posted one of the Onion which I'm sure you would love. Cheers!
Yep, I was very quick on the draw as I’m sitting in Toronto airport delayed four hours, catching up with UA-cam subscriptions when your popped up. Hoping to get out to Banff NP next weekend for a four day solo trip.
Enjoy all your videos and have been using them to plan my hikes in the Kananaskis area. I have planned on doing the ACC Bow Hut next week and will add the Onion based on this video. Thanks for sharing your hiking adventures, as it certainly inspires us to get out there see what is truly amazing out in the back country.
...Glad they help Peter and Thank you! You wont regret doing the Onion. I found the Scrambling up from the Hut pretty easy. Others may find it possibly Lower moderate but I know there were some small kids with parents headed up there. Enjoy!
Hey Harlan Fox. Fantastic videos. Just wondering what kind of exercise regimen you follow to prep for 20 km days on this terrain. Do you have any tips?
Thanks Matthew.. I usually do a bunch of treadmill during the winter and try to do some weight for legs, specially leg curls and led extensions. Works good for me. Cardio is important.
Gorgeous hike. This one goes on the bucket list.
...it's definitely a keeper Marty!
Thanks for putting this on my radar Harlan!
....This one should be on everyone's list!
Great job with video, my son and I got up there while on a Intro to Mountaineering course with Yamnuska Co. last summer👍

Thanks Belle! It's pretty hard to screw up a video with such a beautiful backdrop. This area is stunning for its beauty. Cheers!
It is a beautiful area for sure. Another nice well described video.
...Thanks Alan! I love going back there!
Awesome video from you as always Harlan! Surely a great guide as I plan on taking this hike soon.
...Thanks! Not a lot of time to still get out there without snow. Have fun!
Another beautiful video! Thanks!

... It was summer time.
Great vid Harlan! How long did it take? Limited info online.
...My memory is short but I'm thinking it was about 7.5-8 hours round trip.
Thanks Harlan
