I recall this as the best view of the Columbia Icefields. That was about 20 years ago. It is a cake walk. Glad you shared it. Too bad about the smoke. Thanks again for posting all these brilliant climbs.
That's incredible you saw mama bear and cubs! I did Tangle Ridge in early august and saw the sign about the bear activity. Such nice views in that area. :)
wow that was wicked exposure where left or right would've been game over. Reminds me of your ascent onto The Wedge,... yet this time wasn't solo with Spence along with you. Well done H!
@@HarlanFox--Scrambles Lol, thanks. When I improve physical maybe like next late summer or fall I’ll give you shout to see what your up to in those hills. I have family out there and I try to get out there at least once a year for a hike and kayak during my visit. Enjoy the the rest of your season, Cheers Dan 😉👍🇨🇦

... Pretty amazing yes. The views are spectacular for sure. Thanks for continuing to watch. I appreciate it.

The bears were very nice to see. That area is on my list of going back to. Lots to still climb around there including Tangle. All the best to you.

... Thanks Steve! I found this similar in some aspects for sure. This was a better hike though. More variation. Wedge was fun too.
Its a fun one! Im looking forward to doing nigel on long weekend beautiful area
... Have fun! Nigel looks big.
Love your videos Harlan - I saw your recent comment on another channel about mount Whyte, would be great to see you do that one...
... Well thanks! I do intend at some point to get back out there. Won't be this year but possibly next year. Cheers!
Wow 🤩 that’s a great hike 👍🏼
... Yes it is. Super fun!
Another great video, sitting on my back deck with an aching back and sore knees in Petawawa living vicariously through your videos, Thanks Dan 👍😉
... Ha! Well thanks for watching Dan! Here's to your knees and back. Trust me,, mine hurt lots of the time as well.

Nice vidz as always Harlan!
Thanks Froilan! Appreciate your support.
Awesome! Thanks for the clear trail shots and commentary. I hope to do this one before the winter swoops in this year.
I really enjoyed it. It should have more climbing left in it as long as it doesn't snow too early. Thanks for your comments!
That exposure had me sweating in my living room.
@@dieselryder78 ... Me too a little bit. Ha! Actually it wasn't too bad.
My seven year old daughter asked as we were watching: “How can he get way up there?”
My answer: “He’s Harlan Fox.”
No more explanation was needed.
... Ha! Well more like sheer determination than anything, Everything worth doing requires hard work.
One of the most dangerous mountain I ever did. It's way more difficult than it looks. If you slide you die.
Yes depending on your line you definitely have to watch the exposure.
@@HarlanFox--Scrambles BTW. I like your videos. I have done over 100 mountains but I always watch your guide videos. Good job man.
@@krtkrtko573 I'm glad they help.
Awesome
... Thanks!
