Hey Mike, that Superior XF trail 979/999 is kinda my dream bike but I think the travel is 140 out front and 130 rear. Does it feel “under forked” to you?
Correct! The travel is 140/130. In our experience, the bike is not under forked at all. It can handle some really big features. What does differentiate it more than your average trail bike (like the Siskiu T8) would be that it has a shorter wheelbase. Which means the XF TR sacrifices some downhill stability for being able to corner sharper and faster. Hope this helps!
