So glad to see you are back!!!! I dig the love you have for Mopars. My dad, who passed away in 2017, was a big Mopar fan. In 1974 when I was just a kid we lived in Pensacola, Fla. My dad was building houses in Mobile, Alabama. I used to go on the weekends to check on houses he was building. On one such trip we passed a Dodge/Plymouth dealer and he had to stop. In the show room we saw a 1974 Plymouth Satellite 2 door coupe with a 2 tone tan and metallic brown paint job. My dad was hooked. While he was talking with the salesman, I popped the hood and was blown away. The car had a police interceptor 400. Come to find out, the car was ordered by the Alabama Highway Patrol as a car for their Captain. But there was a mix up in the paper work as it was supposed to be a 4 door. So they did not take delivery of it and it sat in the show room for 6 months and no one purchased it, until my dad came along. The car was equipped with the beefed up suspension, oil cooler, and bigger brakes. This car would really haul the mail!!!!!! Seeing that 4 door Satellite in this video really brought back a lot of memories with my dad!! Thank you for all you do, and hope that you do more videos with Dodge/Plymouth cars as they really hold a special place in my heart. Hope you have continued success!!!!

My dad drove a burgundy unmarked one. It was so nice. He was a traffic safety officer for the Detroit Police Department. He used it for 2 and a half years. He got to drive why he wasn't on duty. It was out front of our house when he was home. Had a .440 police interceptor in that thing with a 727 Trans! Black steelies and the spotted moon caps.❤

Growing up in East Bakersfield and spending a lot of time as a kid driving around out in the orchard backroads, Roadkill Garage always brought back memories for me. Would be awesome if you guys kept the memories going. Love to see more content.

Great to see a post after the hiatus. I have a special place in my heart for those Satellites. Brings me to fond memories of my brother getting one back in the late 80's. It was a 4-door with very little metal holding it together due to living the great white north's version of salt life, but it also had very low miles on it and drove surprisingly strong and solid. We really tore the streets up with that thing. They just don't make cars with that kind of character anymore. Hope you take us along for the ride while you make those upgrades. Rock on Steve!

So glad to see ya Steve I remember my 73' Dart swinger that was the same color as the 4 door Satellite.I hit a very large John Deere tractor and disc hares.I didn't get a scratch nut the car was toast.Man my dad was pissed.I was 16 and the car didn't have insurance on it lol.

Steve--know that you are held in high esteem from all of us in the car community. I’ve been a car guy forever and retired after 40+ years in the auto industry. Been a GTO guy since the 70’s-- still have 3 plus a first gen Corvette. All my stuff runs multiple carbs, points, and 4 speed manuals. Have had a few mopars as well. Will keep on watching and keep spreading the word. I’m in Fresno and get to March Meet and The Hot Rod Reunion each year. If you’re ever in Fresno, lunch or dinner is on me. Keep up the great work!
