The birch was also the only one with a beautiful element to it as well. At first I saw the creature and was freaked but think about it, it’s a forest guardian angel. Yes morbid that be but it also cares for another individual which I can see the beauty in.
Something that should be mentioned: In the One Please horror story, the kid doesn’t at all look happy to be getting the ice cream. This could be either a) It’s a kid actor, but I don’t necessarily think this, b) the kid doesn’t agree with this system that the monster has them under, even if the parents do, or c) it symbolizes how some kids can be unintentionally ungrateful
It seems like it's inspired from fleshgait/innawoods creepy pastas,it's skin is grey, it kinda stays away frrom the light, is very silent apperantly but it doesn;t shapeshift or anything, that's why I'd say it's only inspired and not mimicked.

The three guys with night vision goggles are there to combat the creature Since the Thing hates light, they are fighting it in it's own turf, essentially both being invisible to the creature by wearing dark clothing, and seeing it move in the dark. Awesome!!
Depends how far they go to see "abuse" I guess. Nowadays a lot of medical experts would get killed with the mentally unstable professional victims. Also male victims of abuse get the short side of the stick again.

I feel like there should be a story teller of sortd. As the teller puts a book back into his massive book shelf, a girl from a group of teenagers ask it "What do we do now?" The teller simply replies "Well I've told you what the monster wants, all you have to do is give what it wants...or destroy it." The group gets sent back as they awake, all they can do is wait for death or run. Anyone curious enough and willing to listen will eventually come across the Narrator's Library, a collecter of information. As long as people are interested, the Narrator shall be there to fulfill their curiosity. An aloof entity that comes and goes as it pleases. FoundFlix fits this role so much.

We need more anti-hero / honorable antagonist monsters in horror and characters like Aponi and The Burch is an excellent answer to that need in my opinion.
I dunno if it's just my being raised on Russian folklore, but the Birch just feels like a westernized and bastardized Leshnista, and the Mede whatever just is the Witcher version of a Leshnost just without the whole protecting the Forest stuff.

I like it because it shows what happens with the spirit talking and having the consequence of eating human flesh as the Mordeo appears to be a spirit that speaks before their transformation and after when they begin their hunt.

I think for the Ice cream man he's like an SCP I remember watching a vid about it could be that he puts the people in a certain radius under some sort of affect causing them to become docile and not comprehend the actions they are doing they may not even remember cutting off the finger afterwards or an event is concocted in their mind to explain it's absence. I think the children may act as a catalyst perhaps becoming spellbound by the appearance of the Ice Cream man and then taking whatever has taken control of them and infecting their parents with it.

The Kinderfanger is actually a guy from a German "Märchen" this story is the "Rattenfänger von Harmeln". The Kinderfanger was betrayed by the citizens of Harmeln so he kidnapped all of the kids in the city with his magic flute.
I'd love to see Flix do some updated in depth looks for Crypt's MCU. Mira, Kinderfanger, and the Birch all have a lot more material now! And it would be neat to hear his take on the Torment Shards!

My interpretation of the Ice Cream Man is a bit different. Because the reward is, well, ice-cream, something that is not nutritious but is a treat, I felt like it was more a tale of how parents who overindulge their children always suffer in the end.

I think for the Ice cream man he's like an SCP I remember watching a vid about it could be that he puts the people in a certain radius under some sort of affect causing them to become docile and not comprehend the actions they are doing they may not even remember cutting off the finger afterwards or an event is concocted in their mind to explain it's absence. I think the children may act as a catalyst perhaps becoming spellbound by the appearance of the Ice Cream man and then taking whatever has taken control of them and infecting their parents with it.

My interpretation of the Ice Cream Man is a bit different. Because the reward is, well, ice-cream, something that is not nutritious but is a treat, I felt like it was more a tale of how parents who overindulge their children always suffer in the end.
