    After five whiteboard videos in a row, I was getting a little bored and changed up the format for this one! Nothing is permanent (the whiteboard always finds a way back), I just enjoy switching it up from time to time! If you enjoyed this video style, you may like a previous video presented in the same manner: ua-cam.com/video/6HlUm7dXq5s/v-deo.html
    Always happy to hear feedback! Enjoyed it? Hated it? Let me know your honest opinions! Apologies on the toolbox flex; I'm clearly filling it with the good stuff.

      I was wondering if the tires are actually an even bigger problem, since weight distribution in corners is not 50/50 right and left. Is the tire rating including this as a margin or does it have to be included in your own calculations?

    One thing to consider about the Valkyrie: the initial intent was to also use it for WEC in the Hypercar category. AM pulled out early from the class as they were complaining that nobody was interested in buying their car for the Hypercar class. Considering that this class was also intended for customer teams as well, this was a big deal.
    Probably this explains why AM didnt give Adrian Newey carte blanche on the design.

    • @DuvJones
      @DuvJones 2 місяці тому +6

      No. He, like Aston Martin, idolizes Le Mans. He wants to go, have a design tackle the 24hr race and win in the top class. There are many considerations to the RB17 that are derived from the LMH spec that don't make sense otherwise (like the road tire limit, or the fact it is on a set of Michelin's like every car in the hypercar/GTP class, the fact it is a two-seater), much like the Valkyrie (which is about to have a go at it).
      I think that part of the reason that he dipped is that he could not convince RB racing to have a go at it (which is fair, endurance racing is a different kind of challenge), on top of the Horner problems. We'll see what the future holds, but I think that he wants his piece of the golden era of sportscars. I would not be shocked if he signed with Aston with that in mind.

    • @F1ll1nTh3Blanks
      @F1ll1nTh3Blanks 2 місяці тому +8

      @@DuvJones I think this is the real reason he's looking at Aston Martin again. Everyone is yappin about F1 but no one acknowledges that one of the things he loves most is sportscar racing he's always wanted to bring the two worlds together right at the top. If he could make the Valkyrie win Le Man's, guarantee now, he will say one of his biggest achievements is building a road car that wins one of if not the greatest racing spectacle on the planet, even above some of his F1 championships.

    I like how you went the route of the clear infotainment and basic but core math of engineering, teaching, to just being a that plus a normal UA-camr. You remind me a lot of if i could of afforded to go to university properly so makes me happy seeing all your exploits.

    • @williamvanderscheer4327

      @@llavero5 No, the cylinder configuration matters most, v10 particularly have a sense of specific harmonics that come into play, which is why they sing so nicely. A v10 does this even at lower rpm's. Yes the high RPM's are the cherry on top, but a 2 cylinder reving to 10k does not nearly sound as good as a v10 reving to 10k.

    • @Willbrse
      @Willbrse 2 місяці тому

      @@llavero5 It's a mix of everyting. It has to be a V10, at 20k rpm and even the cylinder order counts.

      @@llavero5I would say the engine configuration give an engine its underlying tone. The higher rpm gives it its pitch.
      The zonda only revs to 7k but sounds amazing because of the mixing pulses.
      I am hoping to make my M120 V12 project sound as good as a zonda. I have done alot of studying 😂
      I love them all tho v8s, v10s v12s 😍

    16:53 Dude, when you said you were gonna do some math and held up that TI, my brain just lit up with jokes about why it wasn’t an HP, and “Long live RPN in combination with the stack.” Of course I’m just joking around, I had a TI-81,82 and 83 but before getting the 85, I got introduced to HP and then I started jocking the RPN/Stack combo and got the HP-48G, 49G, 49G+ and now I’m just rocking the Prime app on all my Win/Mac/Android/IOS devices like I’m a boss when all I really do is basic +-*/ math. But I couldn’t help but notice that your TI was black, yet looked a little different from the black TI that I knew of, which was the 85, so I figured I’d zoom in to see if I could make out the model and it turned out to be the 83 plus, but then I noticed the, on screen, message you slipped in there (“Hello Dorks”). Got me!!! Got me good!!!! 😂 You are hilarious!!!!!!!
