When people come into our offices with no place to stay, they don’t get to choose where we house them. They are housed where we can find placement for them, even with us there is limited placement for our homeless. If the legal society feels the housing that’s being offered to theses people isn’t good enough, then they should take them into their homes or pay for them to live elsewhere out of their pockets/pocket books.

I had to look it up, but every year about 700 homeless people in the United States die of hypothermia. What’s that going to look like this year when a polar vortex hits and there’s no shelter space available? I had to look it up, but every year about 700 homeless people in the United States die of hypothermia. What’s that going to look like this year when a polar vortex hits and there’s no shelter space available? Mild weather for the next few weeks, but the next winter outbreak will make the one a few weeks ago look like a walk in the park.
