    Stevenson is cute! I really like this story .I can imagine the big island where Valleyfields Railway is could be a place that Rescued thousands of steam engines just like Remembrance , Stephenson, Enterprise and Solereo . THEY are fabulous . Do you like Jubilee engines ?or Castle engines .
    Have you ever thought of Valleyfield central having hundreds or thousands of engines.. England is a small country but they had thousands of steam engines.British steam engines are beautiful. I noticed the shed was huge looked like room for 40 or 50 engines .GREAT SHED!!
    Thank you for coming up with such great characters . Surely making a video is hard work. I’m glad you have such great skill.
    Have you ever seen WASH UP AND BRUSH UP Steam train maintenance in the 1950’s? It would be great if someone could create a story based on that video . It is about how a steam engine had to get a washout and have his flues cleaned . I can imagine that the engine cried when they cleaned out his flues and gave him the washout .They spray water under high pressure through openings in the boiler.
    I’ll bet steam engines hate washouts.The engine in the documentary movie is a standard 5 a cute 4-6-0 his number is 73020 and I gave him a name Trevelyan Riddles .Trevelyan is a Welsh name . Robert Riddles design . This engine born Oct 31,1951 .He must have been about 2 and a half in the movie .I’m guessing 1954 I think 73020 would make a great character .
    When he was 2 and a half I’m guessing he was 7 in choo choo years and adulthood would be at 7 calendar years
    I like your episode 4 and the ones that include Remembrance .She’s beautiful

    • @TTTENWRAdventures1
      @TTTENWRAdventures1  6 років тому +4

      It could be because of the compression of the clips. You see, filming these clips in Trainz takes up a lot of memory, so I often compress these clips to more manageable file sizes before I send them to RJ for approval. If you have suggestions on how I can improve the quality of these clips without them taking up more memory than necessary, that would be great. -Scott

    How about a story about Stephenson getting his flues cleaned and a washout.. Based on the Wash Up and Brush Up video Steam train maintenance in the 50’s . The documentary is very graphic and shows what an engine goes through twice a month .
    Stephenson while in the shed would scream so loud during flue cleaning that they could hear him at the station.
    They clean out flues by ramming them with a rod with a screw shaped thing on the end .
    Could you show a steam engine with the smokebox door open. Face turned to left . Face visible when seeing engine’s left side .
    Engine would hear a lot of talk about deep breathing like some bullshit from a doctor who would blow off someone’s complaints of pain .

  • @rweezy3604

    This series is actually pretty good. Just one question, what time period does this take place in? Because I’m pretty sure the only A3 Preserved was Flying Scotsman

    • @TTTENWRAdventures1
      @TTTENWRAdventures1  5 років тому

      It takes place within the modern era (circa 2014 onwards). We're fully aware that Flying Scotsman's the only surviving member of his class in real life, but it was RJ's idea to have certain engines that had been scrapped in real life preserved in our series. After all, Thomas, Edward and Toby still exist in the world of Sodor, and their siblings were all scrapped in reality. And let's not forget that ShunterProductions did the same thing when he created Nigel the J50 for his own series.

    • @barbaramoran8690
      @barbaramoran8690 4 роки тому

      In the stories we can say that all the engines got new boilers and they were only called scrapped because old boiler left behind . I like to think of the island railroad taking in a couple thousand engines during 1950’s and 60’s and there could be a couple of other islands beyond Sodor and Rhyndallen SP? And that they took in even more steam engines. Because there were so manyYOUNG ENGINES that were built after 1940and even into mid 1950’s. They all had decades of puff left in them. a choo choo well maintained with new parts can last over 100 years.

    • @TTTENWRAdventures1

    • @russellgxy2905
      @russellgxy2905 5 років тому +1

      If I remember correctly, Stephenson, Remembrance, and their siblings were originally large Baltic Tanks, but weren't rebuilt as tender engines in the 30s. The became N15X's (X being the Brighton connotation for a rebuilt engine), because they were intended to supplement the King Arthur class as they were now also 4-6-0 tender engines. Sadly they weren't quite as powerful as the N15's but we're still quite fast

    • @TTTENWRAdventures1
      @TTTENWRAdventures1  5 років тому +3

      Actually the rebuilds of Remembrance & her class did take place in the 30's, she was converted in 1934 to be honest. The rebuilding of them all took place from 1934 to 1936. - RJ
