SINGER 99 TUTORIAL | BACKSTITCH & ZIGZAG WITH VINTAGE & ANTIQUE SEWING MACHINE

Singer 99 tutorial. How to thread the machine, how to take out the bobbin, how to wind the bobbin and how to insert the bobbin, how to remove and insert new needle with the needle system that I use for my singer 99 and I also showed how to backstitch, zigzag, and how to do darning.
The singer 99 is a smaller version (they call it a 3/4th version) of the singer 66. But it's still as powerful as its bigger sister! - just a tiny bit lighter.
This techniques can be used with the Singer 66 and some other sewing machines as well.

About me: I learned to sew from watching my neighbour, who was a tailor, sew. She often came to our house (to use my Mom's Singer treadle sewing machine) to sew some work that she brought home. I learned professional sewing techniques by just watching her sew quietly. And I learned to make patterns from my Mom's notes from her Dressmaking school days. I was 15 yo then.
I mentioned this to explain why I don't usually talk in my videos. I learned more from visuals than from verbal instructions. I hope that my viewers can also learn in the same way.
