Always stoked for your videos to come out. I feel like I have been failing forward for years and have abandoned digital products ive put a lot of work into because it wasn't what I felt could truly carry my passion and my heart wasn't behind it. This video is very encouraging for the one I want to build right now.
Hell yeah dude! That was the exact goal of making this
Love the honest sharing. Been in it for almost a decade myself and definitely resonate with this. Encouraged by your journey.
I’ve recently moved to Melbourne as well so it’s nice to see someone online from the same city.
You’re onto something mate!
These videos have been phenomenal. The clarity and perspective is fantastic. It's a great reference for someone at any point in this process ~ The more specific you detail your process, the more universal it becomes.
So glad to hear it my friend
THIS VIDEO IS GOLD 🏆 I'm currently in the place you were at in 2018. Stoked with the few sales I've gotten so far on Gumroad and affiliate commissions. Building to the moon! 🌙
The content you're putting out here for free is literally some of the best I've ever consumed. For someone who is close to start my own UA-cam-channel I've also changed my mindset in regards of the need of a lot of b-roll. Your content is so engaging that listening to you for 30 minutes, just you, is highly engaging. Thanks, Tom!
Not to be this guy, but; Do you record "directly" into your software the split screen with the round edges? Or do you record your screen and film separately, and edit them this way? I'm currently producing webinars for one of the biggest tech-consultant companies in the Nordics (went from developer to marketing/filmmaker-guy, that's another story for my future channel), and for some or another reason I just find splitting the screen like you do - with rounded corners not cropping too much of the presentation, really time-consuming and difficult getting a consistent result from webinar to webinar (I'm producing the webinars beforehand and edit them, not doing real live).
Do you have any tips on this specific look? I've been a Final Cut Pro user for 15 years, but made the switch to Da Vinci Resolve a couple of months ago.
Thankyou mate! I really appreciate this feedback!
So I do it in post inside premiere pro. But I have done it live for my students in my program using OBS! Both are possible
Really enjoyed hearing the longer version of this story, Tom. Super inspiring! If you’re looking for any videos ideas I’d love to hear how to get your first few sales through the door. Still struggling with that. Hope you’re having a great week dude! 🤝🔥
Love this
Always good to find a fellow aussies channel. Great content. Subbed!
Welcome aboard!
Love this! So refreshing to see the "failures" that ultimately contribute to the success.
I’m using your cinematic luts for my UA-cam videos and short form videos
That’s awesome to hear man! I use them every day
This was super interesting, thanks for candidly sharing your journey 👏
Always appreciate your transparency 🙏🏽
Thank you for sharing ❤
This was awesome Tom! Thanks for sharing :)
Just found your channel through this video - you got yourself a new sub 🙌
Hell yeah! Stoked to have you here
Hey mate who did you hire to make your landing page for this one?
Sam
Hey brother,
Why don’t you use also ads to scale your business?
I wanted to prove that I could crush it with organic before throwing myself into ads.
We are changing that this year though
@@TomNoske as a fellow Aussie, nice work. My background is CRO Ads and I like to test my digital offers to a cold audience to validate and verify the idea and wants vs needs. Love hearing the story though this year I will be working on content organic and pairing it with ads the two go hand in hand. Keep it up mate!
