  • I had these for some time before they broke and I was curious to see what was in them. Maybe you would like to know too.

My case got dropped and suddenly stopped turning on, so I figured I'd try opening it up before just throwing it in the garbage. Your video helped to show that it has plastic snaps and is as simply as prying it open. I'm not sure what I did, but something must have been shorted out because when I got it open the lights came on again.
    So thanks! 😅

Would've been nice to have some detail on the batteries in the case viewers wanted to replace theirs...

@@freewayross4736 I carefully disassembled mine to investigate the battery and found it's still fine (and expensive in aftermarket). The problem was the earbud electronics shuts down if battery voltage exceeds some value (4.2V?) and mine had done this presumably due to close proximity with a speaker magnet. I discharged the battery slightly and stopped setting the earbud case on top of a desk speaker.

      1) Remove the earbuds from your bluetooth pairing list in your phone and try re-pairing them.
      2) If still not working, repeat step 1 and before re-pairing them, reset the earbuds to factory setting. Then re-pair them.
To factory reset most earbuds, touch and hold both earbud buttons for a full 10 seconds until they reboot. For some, it's necessary to do this while they are in the charger case.
Beware, factory reset may cause them to operate in default language, which might be Chinese, you'll have to configure the language and this procedure varies from brand to brand. Many earbuds default language is English.
In the case of the earbuds I'm wearing at the moment,
Factory reset is to 1) Turn off both earbuds and the bluetooth on phone.
      2) Press both earbuds for 6 seconds while they're in the charger box.
The earbuds will boot and pair to each other, this establishes the link between the two. The language will be Chinese at this point.
      3) While the phone bluetooth is off, long-press the right earbud until it beeps, then two quick presses toggles the language to English.
I'm pretty sure you'll find almost all earbuds operate differently, you need the instructions for your particular set. Mine were cheap but sound good despite being cheap. The operating instructions in the box were mostly incorrect, obviously written for a previous model and not updated.

One of my buds has a red light while charging, however never turned on. I think the problem might be the battery. I will try to do this

I actually found a fix for the ear phones that have a bad connection

I noticed when I took a toothpick and pushed down on the little charging pads on the ear phones. They would get pushed deeper into the headphone, making it harder for the cases contacts to touch so I popped my head open, and when I pushed I could see the motherboard being pushed up and the little plastic connecters actually where it out, so I use some super glue to glue the motherboard down. I pushed it down and I close the headphone back up and when I put it in the charging case, the connection problem was fixed.
