I've never seen animated icons on a Symbian nokia phone, I guess you need the very top model for that :D. I used a Nokia E50 until late 2014! Such a lovely little phone (but the very low-end of the enterprise phone line, so rather slow with just 32 MB of RAM). I had an HTC Touch Diamond (Windows Mobile) since about 2010 but it was so clunky to use as a daily driver, I only used that one for wifi and navigation since the E50 has neither of those. I eventually bough a used HTC Evo 3D at the end of 2014 and that was bye bye Nokia E50 after some 6 years of use. Those were the times. Nowadays phones are all the same, maybe one a bit faster than other, but nothing really exciting in the last 8 years.

How I wish the networks in USA still offered 3G in 2024. I was able to get this device to connect to my home wifi, that I had to change to 2.4ghz. I was able to install and use Opera Mini 7.1. First, I had to change the calendar on my phone to any date in Sept 2013 so as not get a certificate error. Then after install, I changed the date back to the real date. Unable to get gmail or hotmail to work, even though I enabled IMAP and POP and used the generated app password for the device which was done at the outlook and gmail web account settings, as well as every setting imaginable for each account. I was able to get calendar to work and synch that with the desktop using Nokia PC Suite; but it will not sync with my Outlook or gmail calendars. Contacts won't sync with my google account. It's basically a glorified PDA with calendar and note functions. For that, frankly, I use a HP 200LX with a 256mb CF card and I love it. But how I'll miss these little E90 devices. My only hope is that companies will see how great these are and bring them back with modern hardware and capabilities. I had my hopes on Planet Computers, but frankly, it looks like they are just non-existent now, though their website is still up. No real updates in a long time.

Nokia's one of the worst designed phone ever. I even cleaned my 7390's main display, because someone before me add coke to his or her phone. 6600fold is much better quality.

I'll downgrade that n73's firmware to get rid of that extra bloat that occupies some of the boot time and he right key if that was me, already did that with my n95 8gb and it felt faster too.

Had this phone and later got an GPS accessory but i remember it wasn't 100% accurate most of the time. had two of them. both of them had some spontaneous shutdown issues after many months of use and is the reason why i got a second one. Good phone as an mp3 player

i have the regular n95 with a 32 gb sd card, So that means i have more gigabytes then the "upgraded" 8gb version. still works for calls and sms lol
