Good job Corin, thank you for sharing!👍👍👍
Wow, brilliant as usual.
❤️ thanks Corin.
Great tree
Interesting! I have yet to use my lime sulphur, it's like magic.
In a basic technique, working from top to bottom will keep runs and accuracy in check. 😃
Wonderful tree can I ask how old it is?
Didn't know you had a van Gogh in ya, Corin!
Another fantastic informative video it’s amazing what you learn in such a short time 😜
Hey Corin, are you able to comment on the decision making process for the shari present on that juniper at all? never seen it being applied to primary branches that thin taking up 50% of the circumference. Tree looks amazing already and very much looking forward to its styling.
yeah, i haven't noticed that on any other trees I've seen. cool idea. i think the sharis would look even better asthetically if they twisted around the branch slightly to match the trunk shari movement.
Jinned live branches are called eta jin (my spelling of the Japanese is probably wrong) and are very desirable and valuable. Because jinned branches are pretty much set and difficult to bend, they are a hallmark of a mature, refined tree.
Thanks Corin for that quick video. Is it necessary to moisten the wood beforehand? By moistening I don't get a clean edge and the sulfur also runs onto the bark. Greetings from Germany.
Do you have a tip to remove lime sulphur stains on an unglazed bonsai pot ? Thanks
my best tip is to cover the pot with a towel or clingfilm prior to applying it. Not that helps you once its happened !
👍👍💚💚
Would remove that front left branch or Jin it up in a heart beat. The Shari looks too man made
Do you use the lime-sulpher full strength or do you dilute it?
I used it full strength
Thanks 🙏
This stuff smells evil, like classic “stink bombs”. Probably showing my age 😆
It stay yellow 1 month after ... Why ??
No, the lime sulphur makes it go white, the yellow was when it was freshly applied.
@@greenwoodbonsaistudio i was asking bc for me it stay yellow lol ...
👍👌🍎🙂
Not my favourite job as I hate eggs and the smell of them. Definitely a job to do outside for me.
