Damn. Their harmonies ARE OFF THE CHARTS! Their voices blend so well. I am speechless. I am so glad to rediscover Billy Gilman and also...this group, Home Free. I love harmony.
Don't be ashamed of those tears man....im 38 years old, I grew up with a VERY abusive stepfather....I came close a few times, ive battled depression for years....lucky for me, I had very loving grandparents, and God helped me turn things around....im now an Army Vet, been married to my best friend for 11 years...and have a 4 year old son who I would kill for......dont be ashamed of those tears.....
Deep bro soul deep and gut wrenching video. When you started to cry so did I. I had to write this. The song is so INCREDIBLE. We (my father little brother and myself) lost a wife/Mom to the “S” word (can’t bring myself to say it) back in 2011. Not a second goes by everyday that I don’t think of her. I have a beautiful wife and two precious littles now of my own. My babies didn’t get to meet their grandma Becky, that’s what hurts the most. They would’ve LOVED her beyond belief. She was such a people person everybody loved to be around her because she was so loving and compassionate to all. A true heart of gold. ( that’s where I get it from) Life isn’t fair but it’s not our place to question why. The hurt will never go away but I still have pictures and lots of memories of her that mean more then anything to me. May god bless anybody going through or who has had to deal with depression. I’ve been down that road myself in the lowest of low deep depression, it’s definitely not a fun place to be by any means. Thankfully I woke up one day from my “dark days” and understood why we are all born and put on this earth. We are here to make a difference in someone else’s life that may need help and share the peace and love we all deserve to have, live and understand everyday. There is hope there is no quitting in life, you only get one so be the best person you can be to everybody you meet or see. Life is short as is so live like everyday could be your last but *PLEASE don’t make it your last.* One of my most favorite sayings is from The Crow “it cant rain all the time.” You are NEVER alone. Peace love and happiness to all. 🍀✌🏼🍀
I am a suicide survivor. I was 15. I'm about to turn 48 on Mother's day. I had no one to turn to back then. I now suffer from PTSD, anxiety and MDD. I lost my mom and my oldest daughter within 11 months apart. I've come a long way since then. I definitely to hear this song again.
@@KingFamilyReacts thank you. I still battle every day. But my daughter needs me. I'd say she definitely has saved my life. Also Anthem Lights released How Sweet It is video today for Mother's Day. When I tried to take my life when I was 15, no one in my family knew. One day when I was 17, I had an argument with a family member and I blurted it out. And only response I got was "Why didnt you succeed." I battle with anxiety and depression and PTSD now. And when I lost my mom and oldest daughter I wanted to end it all, but I couldn't do it. Definitely have Angels watching over me. 🤗
This song is also needed for the kids especially dealing with bullying. My daughter is 9 and autistic. She has been bullied especially this school year. And another kid about her age, who lives in our neighborhood, came home from school and was being bullied and took his life. He was only 9. My daughter has come home crying saying she isnt happy anymore. That other kids make fun of her. And it broke my heart.
I don't think I ever going to be able to watch this video without crying. The music is beautiful and the video is important. Love how Home free always takes a stand and doesn't shy away from difficult hard topics. ❤️
Not sure if anyone gives a shit but if you guys are bored like me atm then you can stream pretty much all of the latest series on InstaFlixxer. I've been binge watching with my girlfriend these days xD
I love your genuine reaction. So many people are in a dark place-one of my grandkids had this deep pain. I got her out of the closet. She’s now my legally adopted daughter-and is so much better. Lots of love, tears, therapy. Thankful for where she is now. 🙏🙏
This song is everything. I'm crying because of the video and I've got goosebumps because of their voices. I'm so glad they put the suicide hotline number up there. I hope this can help at least one person. As a person that has thought about suicide and self harm off and on this is the kind of song and video I'd watch to give me hope.
@@debrabusch1090 Trust me on this, I said the same thing as you, a thousand times before. Once my daughter was born, the level of feelings and anxiety and everything else get's turned up to 11. This is not as disrespect to you and what you feel, but what you feel is just a prelude of how you'd react to it had you had a personal frame of reference to the situation, aka imagining this would be your child. And without having one, that frame of reference doesn't exist.
@@aqhan you are welcome to your opinion, but you are wrong. I will never be a parent, but I know a lot about this subject due to the career path I chose. @@newmooreflash8803 Unfortunately you aren't correct and you don't get to tell me that I'm wrong. Seeing something and learning about it is not the same as having an incredibly personal bond. There's nothing stronger than a bond between a parent and a child. Not with partners, not with you parents, not with your friends. Nothing compares to it and everything pales in the front of it. I too worked with kids and parents (for many years) and I can tell you it's nothing in comparison. All you have is empathy, schooling and theories - and it won't make you feel 1% as strong as a parent.
This song made me cry when Billy was a kid; it still makes me cry. My deepest, deepest condolences on the loss of your friend. Thank you for reacting to this song.
I know she is an actress, but the look on her face when she sees her son seemed so real. That ending scene was so emotional. It got to me the same way it got to you. You just felt that relief from her when she saw him.
This song is as relevant now as 20 years ago. We all love Home Free for their entertaining video's but they are on a roll with Jeffrey's People video a couple of weeks ago and now Billy's One Voice. Love Home Free's humanity.
You may have just saved someone’s life Dennis-You my friend are blessed so that you can bless others! We love you for your BIG heart and the love you share!
I still remember and listen to the original version. He was a really amazing singer even as a kid. It's awesome he's still going and has done this cover as an adult. It's a real trip down memory lane. As for the video itself, it resonated strongly with me as I too have battled depression, anxiety and suicide. I've also lost friends to suicide, including at least one friend from school.
I remember the original very well. This is even better. Home Free seems to be leading the way to making a difference. Another anniversary timed just right with mental health month. I love this collaboration. Billy sounds amazing with Austin. Harmony second to none. Message much needed.
Another great song that Billy did when he was younger is a song called Oklahoma!! You should check that out! Me and Billy are about the same age and I remember when this first came out I was in grade school I loved the song then but now I'm grown and actually understand the meaning we need to hear this song today as much as we did then! Billy and Austin did a awesome job along with the other guys! Your reactions had me in tears!! Thanks for your reactions Dennis and helping put a smile on my face when I'm not having a great day! 🙂
Oh no, not that one. I need to breath first, coz that one never failed, not even once to produce falls from my eyes, specially with its mv. Btw, i also love his song entitled There's a Hero which the mv was about cancer survivors/patients. Such an awe inspiring song.

Thank you, Dennis. THANK YOU. And thank you, HOME FREE & Gilman. I’ve had suicidal ideation off and on for most of my life. I have Generalized Anxiety Disorder and Major Depressive Disorder. I now recognize when I’m in trouble, and I’ve persevered. I’m 61. I’ve seen my two sons grow up to be wonderful men. I’ve seen my son marry his wonderful husband. I’ve seen my oldest son earn his Master’s Degree, and he’s now the Dean of Students at a liberal arts college. I would’ve missed all this. And I would’ve missed forty years with the love of my life. I’m 61, he’s 70. We’re old, gray and fat...but we’re still us. Thanks for your honesty, Dennis. THANK YOU.
This song was powerful when it first came out and still is today. Billy Gillman could sing at 11 and can still belt out a song at 30 something. He's amazing. This was an amazing match up.
Loved your reaction. Made me cry when I saw you start to cry. I have always loved Billy's voice from the beginning and I'm so glad he did a remake with Home free on this one. One of my favorites both of them have done.
As the Mother of a Son lost to Suicide 23 Years ago this is just so beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time. If this can save one life then we are truly blessed. Just remember you are never alone there is always someone to listen to you and there is help.
I Have Always Loved this song and Billy's Beautiful Voice!!!! I Remember when he 1st released it in May 2000, he was just 12 years old when he released it and he was the Youngest male artist in history to have a Solo Top 40 hit on the Country Charts!!!! I've been in this situation around 6 years ago and Thank God it Didn't work!!!! I suffer from PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, & Panic Attacks!!!! But You Have to Fight Through It!!!! I Know it's easier Said Than Done!!!! And Billy's voice is Still Absolutely Angelic!!!! Home Free is Amazing for doing this song with Billy!!!! Great Reaction as Usual!!!! I've Always Cried when Billy sang this song!!!! But this video is Really Very Deep!!!!
Thank you, Dennis, for spreading the hope. As a mother of 2 boys and one who has lost loved ones to suicide, this was a hard hitter. I was crying along with you. Great reaction!
Beautiful reaction from you.. I'm crying right along with you I remember when he was 12 years old singing this song did the same thing to me then as it does now.. Home Free did an amazing job with Billy. . 🏡🆓🏡🍟
This....this right here is why I love watching you. I am Alabama-born and bred, and people need to understand that we love deeply, feel even deeper, and will move heaven and earth for those we love. You showed the same emotions in this song as I do every time. This is who we are.
The original video was just a remark on the difficulties of a kid going to school right after Columbine. This video is so much more powerful, because not only does it talk about the young man thinking about ending himself, but also fits the original video's message of awareness on mass shootings, etc.
Truth to tell.....this song, these men, that video? They saved a life today. Gentlemen, YOU saved a life today. And so, thank you. Seems so little to say to repay what you gave, really. But thank you is all I have. THANK YOU, Billy, Austin and Home Free. Maybe one day I will be able to thank you in person. God bless you all! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
I have lost someone dear to me many decades ago to suicide. It was such a shock because we had no idea she was in despair. She and her husband (my godfather) were always so upbeat and positive people. A close cousin of mine lost her son to suicide, too. I am so glad Home Free and Billy remade this song and video! Billy and Austin really did a beautiful job with lead vocals and the rest of the guys brought the A-game, too! The first time I saw the video and saw the young man pull the gun out I had the same reaction, Dennis. As I listened to the lyrics and realized he would do the same as the boy in the song, and he did. I realized afterwards that Home Free and Billy wouldn’t shoot a video with a negative ending anyway. I truly hope they collaborate again the future!
This goes on my heart, that was amazing, 🙏 I'm am very happy for Billy gilman to get to know Home Free, God Bless you and thank you for the sharing of your life too! #hugeblessing
I battle with depression and I've been close to that point and what stops me is what my stepdad told me when I was younger. It stops me everytime and it's a good thing.
this hits home to me on a couple of fronts. I've been there myself and right now, we are losing 22 veterans a day. Way too many. I can't image what they come home to emotionally. You are right, there is always a light
Thank you for the great reaction video review of this song your response was precious and I am sure Billy and Homefree will love it. Beautiful. Keep spreading the message There not alone.
Crying with you Dennis - what an awesome song with an powerful message. People need to know that you can find help if you need it. Many thanks to Billy Gilman and Home Free for this!
This song hits home for me on many levels, in school I was bullied to the point where I thought it would be better to just not be here, Since then I have battled depression anxiety and I am still here. When someone reaches out to you please help all you can you might end up saving a life. Homefree is a special breed of singers who know how to get you in the heart. Everytime I hear this song I cry and it takes me back to school. No one ever listened to me and I had to deal with it on my own So i understand all to well.
Yep, this had me crying too Dennis. So good and so important to reach out to others. God is here for you. Boy, Billy has a beautiful voice. God bless Billy, Home Free and all the listeners and those in pain.
Your reaction was so real and pure... I appreciate it 😔 A close family friend that was like a brother...we all hung out one weekend celebrating my nieces birthday. He seemed so happy like always, nothing wrong or out of the ordinary. The following weekend, we got a call that he hung himself from the tree in his backyard 😢😭 His mom and sister lived next door and found him hanging in the morning 😭😭😭 The last thing he said was on FB that he couldn't do it anymore... unfortunately it was in the middle of the night, no one seen it until the next morning. He was "family", why didn't he come to us!?!? 😭
Was crying right along with you, thank you for sharing your emotions and for sharing the message ! It’s so important, especially right now with everything that’s going on ! Love your channel, it does brighten my day when I need it 😉
I love how tenderhearted you are! It's great to see that in a man. Thank you! It's a tear-jerker for sure, especially if you've lost anyone to suicide (my best friend at 21) or even those we've had we love who have tried to. (my daughter several times as a teen) It is a horrible thing to watch and live through. It changes you forever. I so appreciate Billy and Home Free joining together to put out the wonderful song and thanks to all of you reactors talking about it. This is Mental Health Awareness month and the most we put out the hotlines and talk to each other, the better for anyone in need. Maybe some will reach out for help or some of us will see signs of someone who needs us. Or at the least, we can all be praying together for each other! Billy's songs he did when he came in 2nd (should have won, my opinion!) on The Voice are all worth listening to. Beautiful voice and fit perfectly with Austin's! Take care my friend. Keep up the great work.
All of the Song was done live none of it was pipped in from the original that was Billy Gilman's grown up Voice through the whole song. Love this Version his Collaborating with HomeFree was just, the pure genius, He was so Elated when they approached him with the Idea. I am so Proud of Him and Them what an amazing Video it turned out to be. Thank you For mentioning Billy and all you said. I follow both of them always have and having them sing together Pure magic and this message is so needed now thank you again for the reaction.
A sweet 17 year old friend of our family's just took her own life a few weeks ago, and there are so many times I wonder, "is there something more I could have done?" Naomi was such an incredible spirit... I wish I could have done something... my own 3 children were incredibly impacted by her passing, and I have had some intense conversations with my 3 boys ( ages 13, 12, and 9) about the seriousness of life and its hardships. Please continue to pray for us. Thank you and God bless you.
I used to love in a small town where suicide was far too common among young people as well as adults, and while I personally "only" have known one or two who committed it, I know many who have lost someone that way. In this part of the world is not very common using things since they are hard to come by, but there are other ways. I have friends who found several of their/our friends after. I myself thought about it many times, that's why I have dedicated my life to helping people find a greater inner well-being. Every person I work with as a coach is someone important and it's fascinating and so rewarding to see that when they step into their well-being and begin to thrive and enjoy life the people around them begin to flourish too. Thanks for a great reaction! Such an important topic. 🙏❤️
Never ever is the answer but it's a real reality. I was there when i lost my son. Some days i couldn't get up to go to the bathroom.. i came home from work and wrote my note, was home alone and my first born was at my mom's house, i took my shower and started to sit down at my table to take some pills when my best friend knocked on my door. Thank God for her! 25 plus years later we are still best friends

Home Free did an amazing job with Billy. . 🏡🆓🏡🍟
I think the message is just as true today as it was when this song was first recorded.
This....this right here is why I love watching you. I am Alabama-born and bred, and people need to understand that we love deeply, feel even deeper, and will move heaven and earth for those we love. You showed the same emotions in this song as I do every time. This is who we are.
I loved the first version as a kid. This version tops it. He showed more emotion here.
The original video was just a remark on the difficulties of a kid going to school right after Columbine.
This video is so much more powerful, because not only does it talk about the young man thinking about ending himself, but also fits the original video's message of awareness on mass shootings, etc.
You had such a beautiful reaction, to such a beautiful song.🥰
This gets me every time I here this song. Powerful!
This is such a significant song. Not sure how you can’t cry on this one
From your reaction to this video, you just earned a new Subscriber. Keep up the great work! Much love from Canada!
I've watched this over and over!! Still tear up everytime!!! Love that Home Free and Billy did this. So important!
Beautifully done. Would love to hear more collaborations with Billy Gilman. Just amazing.
I cry every time I listen to One Voice... amazing song and message
I luv this version of song. We just need to listen cuz one voice
Watching you react to the video was one of the most moving things I have viewed in a long time. Thank You!
I thought the same!
I was a beautiful song
@@sghsrox09 it was a very beautiful song
Wow. Just simply beautiful
Beautiful. Keep spreading the message There not alone.
great reaction...thanks for being real and for being a man who shares and shows his feelings.
So beautiful! I've loved him since he was a little boy! Great message and collaboration! Harmonies are AMAZING!
This is such a good song. I cry every time I watch it even thought I know how it will turn out. Love your reaction!
Your tears are full of love!!❤
Crying with you Dennis - what an awesome song with an powerful message. People need to know that you can find help if you need it. Many thanks to Billy Gilman and Home Free for this!
Billy Gillman is so important. ❤️
Timeless and powerful song!
Any man who can show emotion has my support
Billy was recently on The Voice. He made it far, he did amazing. You should check out his blind audition its stellar
Wow!! I have never heard this version before. Powerful and emotional ❤
Yep, this had me crying too Dennis. So good and so important to reach out to others. God is here for you. Boy, Billy has a beautiful voice. God bless Billy, Home Free and all the listeners and those in pain.
Billy is an awesome singer! Such power in his voice.
Love your channel, it does brighten my day when I need it 😉
Thank you for sharing
Ed grimely hair. I must say. Love
Another that got me tearing up... Again, enjoy so much that you use emotion and don't just play for the camera. Truly Enjoy!! THANK YOU ❤️😢👍
Chills every single time I hear it.
Beautiful song and a beautiful reaction from you! God bless everyone! ❤️
Man what a great reaction! I appreciate this brother 👑
Thank you for being so raw and real. Thanks for sharing your story of your friend.
#mentalhealth #speakupforlee
This song has always hit me hard, even as a child when Billy first released it. Now, coupled with the video I can't help but cry everytime.
Such a powerful song. Crying buckets
Omg I'm sobbing. I have had theses thoughts.
Amazing vocals!!!
I LOVE THIS SONG 100% 😘 ITS NEAR AND DEAR TO MY HEART ❤️
Very powerful song. Lost alot of good friends. Miss them all.

Love the song & love the shirt!! Perfect vocals.....
Thank you and God bless you.
wow....just wow!...amazing
