sometimes i can't even fathom what we do, but then i look at olympians and realize we haven't scratched the surface of whats physically capable. the mind is a powerful thing. if you keep the mind strong the body will keep going. loose the mind and your done
Some good winter footage, especially the summit and glissading down. Surprised no snow shoes and only micro spikes. Next winter summit you would love the tsloutdoor butt sled also called quicky butt sled. Happy Adventuruing...
It is crazy that there has not been much snow this winter.. Luckily there was a good snow storm a couple days after this. Should be an extra foot out there now
Brittany has the paid version of Pandora and has off-line streaming. Liquid IV sent me these two amazing Bluetooth ear buds for Christmas With the launch of their new flavor piña colada. It was the first time I ever even considered listening to music on the trail but figured we would give it a try on the long walk in so we could zone out and listen to music. It was so freaking amazing we ended up hiking the rest of the next few days with a single earbud in. It was really fun and nice. Made the walk a lot nicer
We tried to get sewerds and Seymour in the same hike But we did the sewerds the morning after a snow storm and most of the range was about 18 inches of trail breaking. By the time we got off the Seward Range it was already three hours after sunset. So we opted to come back for Seymour another day. 15 hours for just a Sewards. Lol. I’m glad though because I love Seymour. It’s one of my favorite mountains
Reminisce my summit in winter. Four of us rest, eat at the lean to.. I rushed them to summit during sunlight. I started alone. Just like you sliding down, fell on my face...my friends never summited because they got lost. I summited solo. It was so cold at the summit, took a few photo with marker as we always do.
no redlining! so many new hikes that we are constantly doing diff mountains. i am working on my 4th round of the 46 so one day i need to gather the dates together and turn it into a grid
can't wait till we can get to some of these big hikes nice video!!
Looks amazing! Been a busy winter so far...can't wait to get back out. You guys even crush the miles in the winter...awesome.
Yea man! Didn’t do much UA-cam stuff this winter! But we got four days in a row and 16 highpeaks on this week we took off
Great! I miss ADK. Thank u for sharing!

@@BrianHikesAllDay Its this kind of weather which makes the ADK GRID challenge even more impressive. Less than 100 folks have completed it to date.
great outing Brian not much snow over here looked awesome wouldn't fancy slipping off that ledge and no summit sign !! atb daz
A few people so my Instagram story about not having a sign and I think they’re making one to bring it out there
@@BrianHikesAllDay excellent : )
Those long walks in. I have to learn how to xcountry ski. I always get seymour & seward mixed up. Lots of fun 👍

great times on seymour lol
Ya speaking from experience. The damn cameras never capture the steepness. Like it just never looks the same!
Not even remotely
Hi Brian & Brittany, thank you👊steep😳 Stay safe, stay well my friends 👍✌️
Thanks, you too!
How much base do you think was out there?
This was before the snow storm but there was maybe 4 inches down low 8 to 10 up high is my guess
Brittney might be disappointed. We all wanted to see the sign!!
I know right???? The Seymour sign is so monumental lol
With all your ADK and Whites hikes have you completed RED-LINING any areas?
no redlining! so many new hikes that we are constantly doing diff mountains. i am working on my 4th round of the 46 so one day i need to gather the dates together and turn it into a grid
@@BrianHikesAllDay Great ambition but as you know Grid is 552 summits and frankly I will pass on the mush season of March and April.
Nice Vlog...not looking forward to that one 😬
the butt sliding makes it worth it, believe it to not seymour is one of my favorite mountains hahaha
⛰ 💪
flexin on seymour
