@@OutsideChronicles I went winter hiking for the 1st time last winter in the Catskills and loved it so much I don't want to hike anytime but the winter now lol. I can't wait!! As soon as they get some snowfall up there I'm making the trip. 4 hour drive so not too bad.
@@OutsideChronicles I Def will my man. Thank You! Where do you think is best to start whiteface? Isn't 1 like a mile longer but less elevation and 1 is shorter but more climb?
I am not going to lie, it was pretty awesome. If we are not going to have a clear day with great views, I say bring it. At least then we will have a story.
As a fellow 46er Whiteface brings back great memories as it was my final summit. Great winter footage. Loved the post holing even with snowshoes on the final ridge. Congrats on # 41.
Good job, brother. 42 down, 4 to go! Can't wait to see your big finish. I thought you had said 41 & 42, but then on top of Whiteface, you mentioned 41 again. Mountain air got your brain all fuzzy. lol
Britney and I just got a chance to watch your blog. There is a plaque for Esther on the rocks under where you guys were standing. I’ll send you a tag on Instagram to show you what it looks like. Also when you were near the top of white face the entire screen turned a solid white and as you were walking into it it looked really freaking bad ass
"This is what we came for." BOOM! That music on the final push was perfect.
That was a memorable and epic summit and deserved dramatic music.
Nice video! Looking to knock this one out over the summer.
Whiteface is a cool hike, you can wave at all of the tourists that drove up in summer.
Great job, looks like a super fun winter hike, thanks for sharing
Cny Backpacker if we are not going to get views on the top, we had better come home with a good story.
Wonderful nature👍
This is my 1st target this winter.
It’s a good one! I love winter 46ers, no mud, no bugs, no rocks, and no bears…and far fewer people

A White Out! Love it!

TheAdventureHeads 41&42, looking forward to the finish.

Yeah, I saw that in post, but it was too late. This was indeed 41 & 42, hoping for 43-46 at the end of Feb.

It was pretty awesome. You feel like a mountaineer in conditions like that.
