Thanks brother. It took a while to make this video, although it has only some simple tips I had so far about the locals. I wish I could speak faster and make it more fun but it is ok. hahahaha I appreciate you comment. Thank you so much.
Great reviews and very informative. Been visiting Vancouver for 20 years and moved here 3 years ago and still don't know all this stuff. Great information!
great vid, you should do a pandemic edition update. i think grouse would be bad this season since they will likely limit the number of folks on the gondola due to social distancing measures
Good idea! But, I've been going to Grouse this season and it is kinda okish the tram. Once I get some time off and bad weather on the mountain I will a new vid. Thanks for commenting. ;)
For this season this is one for Cypress: www.tixforcypressmountain.com/e-commerce/GrpLogin.aspx?fbclid=IwAR0yEIu_5D_qoydY3rPMIR9NCCH-8ZV0kVKqE0cLcooiRY13G1nM1ZtE-7c Username: lucky5 Password: SNOWLUCKY2021 Usually ppl create these groups cause if you can get 30 or 20ppl, i am not sure, to buy the passes from your group you get a free pass. This one is from a random person that posted in the Vancouver Snowboard Club group on Facebook. I am pretty sure the sale ended on Oct 2. But check it out. If you wanna go to Seymour, the sales end on the 15. Email this dude: LUCKYFIVE@SHAW.CA he is posting every time in the group. He probably has a group and will send you all info.
Join the facebook group called vancouver snowboard club (facebook.com/groups/123741691074674) when the groups open ppl usually post it there. They will post the link, user and password to have access to the discounts. I dunno why Cypress does it in this super dumb way, but is is basically a side website they have in which some ppl register their group of friends. I guess if you can get more than 20ppl to get a pass from your group you get a free limited pass or something.
Every mountain has a very good beginner's area. Although Cypress has the longest, you have to take a the chair lift (at least it is slow). Grouse beginner hill is kinda tilted to the lift fence, so it is annoying but they have a more even area where beginners can take the magic carpet instead of the lift (much easier, right?), but you gotta look at their website to see if it is working, it usually runs on weekends. Seymour is just like Grouse but their beginner's area isn't tilted and their magic carpet doesn't run everyday either. You could call the mountain and ask if they will run the carpet on the day you want to go. Don't forget you have to book ahead the day you wanna go this season.
Yeah dude, it's very informative specially for tourists or riders from outside the city. I'm still going to split this video in small peaces to improve it's relevance and make it more dynamic too.
Curious question have you been to Vancouver island in mount Washington ? If you been what the easiest mountains Mount Seymour, grouse mountain , cypress or mount Washington ?
@@BreakingJJC I still have to explore Mount Washington. I heard they get tons of snow . Living in the lower mainland I would pick the three local ones. Mount Seymour to the east , grouse at North Van and Cypress to the west
@@AilisonCarvalho hey blast from the future I been to whistler, mount Washington ,cypress, grouse and Seymour his my rating 1.whistler 2. Mount Washington 3. Grouse mountain 4. Mount Seymour and 5. Cypress . I hope one day you can see all these mountains and compare them all haha this is my opinion
Great to see a Brazilian with such in-depth knowledge of our North Shore mountains. Nice work my man!

I've never been there and it's super far from the lower mainland. It must be better than Whistler for pow laps.
