Honestly Blue, Green, and White as a color palette seems weird when written on a piece of paper, but when its done greatly it really, really stands out
It's amazing how much of a difference a great color scheme makes. I'm realizing now I never gave the design enough credit, when this first showed up in the anime I noticed so many design elements I like to see in gundam designs all because the pretty color scheme made me pay more attention and got me thinking if I was liking it because the design had changed slightly or it was just the new colors(definitely the latter). Also helps that I loved the purplish hue the blues had in some scenes in the anime, it made it feel like Riku was taking on Sarah's color scheme, just like Hiroto's Nepteight had Eve's colors.
Hey Mecha G! I bought the Moebius the other day and there is an interesting thing you can do with the Beam Rifle + Armed Winged Binder. By having the beam rifles sandwitched and held in both hands, with the binders equipped on the rifle, you get a Wing Style Twin Buster Rifle

I was so glad when this version got announced because I kept putting off getting the 00 Sky but this one is just what I wanted. Basically an all in one package for effects, colors and accessories. Preordered it as soon as a saw a preorder sale.

Thematically, he's the Kira to Hiroto's Shinn, driven by trauma and a grudge towards the former, but unlike Kira and Shinn, he's got a genuine support base with no ulterior motives to keep him dysfunctional (glares at Rey and Durandal), and a situation away from Riku where he can heal better, so when he actually meets Riku, even in battle, it's a friendly duel rather than the grudge match we assumed.
So happy this got a good review and is similar in functionality to the previous sets. I bought mine and it’s sitting here waiting to be built. So I’ll probably get on it real soon.
I actually had made a 00 Sky custom long before ReRise came out with these similar colors...though i added longer skirting and called it Gundam 00 Sky Æther, so, bit of a coincidence that this happened, though that means Æther cannot truly be in my headcanon anymore now that 00 Sky Mobeus has been released
Ever since I saw Build Divers for the first time, I thought that the 00 Diver and 00 Sky had some serious missed potential. Given how iconic 00 is and how customizable it is, Riku could've done a lot more. he could've given it 2 of the GN Sword 3 he could've added the GN Buster Sword. He could've covered the thing in swords as if it was the Age FX
i'm happy with my 00 sky higher than sky phase model kit, though i did do the snip for the front skirting armor...much to the same affect. thought I did something wrong but guess not. Those armed wing binders though, oh god do i want this one just to get those, as well as the effects parts. I LOVE multipurpose, transforming, melee/ranged weapons. the transformation for the armed wing binders is so simple, but so effective. EDIT: also, never got so excited for a video in my life! I've been looking forward to this review for so long!
I like this setup for the 00 Sky far more than the others, in large part because the weapon set feels far more balanced and symmetrical. That has all of the weaponry feeling like it's been condensed down into a single multi-use setup on a high-performance multi-role mobile suit.
My only gripe about the 00 sky is the small torso being surrounded by really beefed up arms and legs, but the sharper upgrades and new color scheme on this makes it look a whole lot better
It’s worth mentioning that the previous incarnations included TWO beam sword effects, while only including one beam sword. With the exception of the HWS, this kit seems the strict superior version of OO Sky.
the beam effect part for the gn buster sword isn't included cuz it not part of this particular variant's loadout and its an extra along with all the other original 00 sky weapons those are all extras, but the all the versions of the standard 00 sky comes with 2 beam effects for the gn buster sword so if you have one of those you now have use for the extra one. also i am in love with e FAZZ color scheme and the strike freedom all out attack mode with the HI- MAT
The standard 00 Sky/Higher than Sky/Trans AM variants have an extra blade for the buster sword in the box, so if you've built any of those or get one of them too you can solve this kits lack of one. Still really ought to have included it. Might get this and give my OO Higher than Sky double buster swords.
I can't Lie, Riku's new MS/Kit is So OP and Looking Awesome👌🏻, the Weapons, Color, New armaments is so new season than the older 00 Sky...By the way if you have one of the three old 00 Sky, you notice that the 00 sky's buster sword has a spare beam effect, if you have one you can use it to the new Moebius...but the New Weapons are better Though.

Imagine Moebius having a literal FULL SET, plus a dual green and blue color effects~~~ FULL. ON. GOD...but it can’t beat Qan T Full Saber =v=
Also @Mecha Gaikotsu, in terms of the whole “no extra pink effect” for the Buster Sword, I recall in the previous 00 Sky versions, all have an extra pink piece. U can use that :3 And “all are gold”? Didn’t you say u didn’t like the Trans-Am version? I recall u demoted that to Silver tier
The only thing I don’t like about this design is the wings, I like the GN drive and the wings, just feel like the wings shouldn’t be on the shoulders, splitting the GN drive.
I think the saber effect for the normal 00 Sky's big sword isn't included cos the Moebius isn't supposed to have that or the buster rifle. Instead it have those new binder rifles that go on the back.
the combined form with the armed wing binder and the beam rifle actually is more of a bayonet form which is seen used when it was clashing with the jupitive gundam in EP 24 but it seems the beam effect given can't fit in the binder when its attached with the rifle
just if u want to have seperated hip armor i have been snipping them and the hot presing them with a nail, similar to how you would do treads on a tank model, though ive only done this to a rouge strike hg im doing up custom
