Is it unsafe to not use the inner washer at 5:02? My wheel hub spindles are too short for the wheel bearings. Would be less area pushing on the wheel bearings compared to having the washer there.

The information on how the mechanic unscrewed it can be seen starting from 3:37 minutes of the video. According to the design, there is no need to hold the hub in this particular case. AUTODOC
Why does that hub have a big abs exciter on ? I've looked up buying one of these and they show one with small magnetic ring and this one for same vehicle. How do I know which is correct one ? Mine is a 2004 Peugeot 206cc. HELP

This design is provided by the car manufacturer, and the spacer was installed on the car from the factory.
@@autodocuk Yes, I changed to the correct hub spindle, now the washer fits.

how did you keep the hub from turning, without brake pads, so you could undo the big nut ?
