Cool! This is my first video of someone buying a Chinese 2stroke dirt bike. I was waiting for some review for more than 5 years! Finally, I can see they evolved a lot since 10 years ago.
I really like it a lot. I've not been riding any of the "normal" bikes lately, so I can't really compare. But for the price, and my needs it's really great. People actually asked me if it is a KTM... 😃 I really miss a manual for it. But I've got very good contact with their aftersales support when/if I need any help. I'll do some follow-up reviews when I've been riding a bit more.

I bought it directly from the manufacturer on Alibaba here: bit.ly/Kamax_KMX_250mt. After contacting them directly on Alibaba, I got there contact information (email, WeChat, and WhatsApp) and had further conversation there. I was on a live event on Alibaba (live stream) where they presented some news, and I got some discount, etc. I paid via Alibaba when we reached an agreement. I paid with PayPal, but Alibaba has since then added so that we can pay with THB over a bank transfer. I also used a very good shipper to take care of shipping, and import duties and TAX so that you don't have to deal with that. I've used that company 3 times now. @@tomatdb52 yes, different engine size, but similar high quality components. Mine is a copy of KTM 300 EXC model 2012. They sent me the manual for that bike. The suspension are copy of WP.
They have pros and cons both variants. Depends on what you shall use it for. 2 stroke you need to mix gas n oil which is a con if you need to fill up when riding. Easier to just fill up gas. 2 strokes needs to be run on higher revs. 4 strokes are more difficult to maintain due to more parts in the engine. 4 strokes are heavier. On the trails 4 strokes might be a better option and 2 stroke on the track. Ultimately it depends on where and how you’re going to ride 👌🏼

Thera are a lot of fake shops and scams on Alibaba. The manufacturer I bought from is legit and the bike good. LXT250 is Lextra, right? I’ve no experience with them, but if you’re buying from the Lextra manufacturer I believe they are trustworthy. But as I said, I’ve not purchased from them.
The suspension is very good for enduro/trial riding, but a bit too soft for me on the supercross tracks. I think the clutch is ok. It differs a bit depending on how hot the bike gets.

I've not done it here in Thailand. But as far as I understand it can be done. But regulations are different in different countries, so you need to look it up first.
I paid $2810 for the bike, plus a little for some spare parts. The total including shipping and import duties was $3389. They had 10% discount when I bought it.
They are selling now Hondas, Kawasakis, Yamahas and Susukis, apparently they're 650 or 450 cc but they cost just a fraction of what a real dirt bike cost, i wonder if they're legit.
I really doubt they’re legit. I wouldn’t buy one of those. Another guy was chatting with one of those sellers. He should buy one, he said. I told him to let me know how it turned out. He never did, so probably not too well.
I searched for 250 XC 2019 in their manuals library. There are manuals in many different languages. I don't know if this is the best for this bike, but so far I've go great help from this manual. www.ktm.com/en-us/service/manuals.html
@@hasanal5074 the top speed is irrelevant for me here. No trails or dirt roads where I go at full speed. I was flat out on 6th gear on a rough dirt road and it was fast enough. Now I’m using mousse in the rear tire which is more unstable in high speeds too.
I want one it like a modern Yamaha DT R , I had 4 of them I can tell buy looking at the engine it’s a Yamaha clone, they should not have called it a KMX , Kawasaki make them I had a KMX 200 20 years ago

This bikes no joke I had the Kayo 250 2 stroke for a bit and it has power when’s you hit the power band in 2nd 3rd and 4th it’s crazy 😂

I’ve not tried a Kayo, but the bikes are pretty similar. I guess Kayo is a more well-known brand.

Doesn't smoke to much that's good it oil injection or premix and what's it ratio
Pre-mix. I follow the oil manufacturer's (Motorex) recommendation, 50:1.
It's even smoking less since I changed to the SmartCarb SC2!
