A month went by and no pump. Talked to Gary again. Also mentioned I never received the kickstarter nut I paid for half a year ago along with the oil pump from a month ago. The guys in the UK already have, as they have been racing them for a while now. These bikes are solid. The 300 may be new so it's got some proving to do, but the rest of the GPX line up has already been vetted and they stand up to the abuse and are rock solid reliable.

I do understand your point, but we all have crap made in China in our homes and whatever bike or car we have has parts made in China. I wish it wasn't so, but it is. Most of KTMs parts are made in China now. The KTM Adventure Bikes are made in the same factory as GPX. Yamaha and Honda use parts from China. The China argument is no longer an argument as all bikes are now mostly made from parts in China. So, might as well support a small American owned business from Linden Utah (where the profits go).

It literally just came out, so 23
"There are no cheap parts" lol good one. This bike will fall apart after three harescrambles
Have you ridden one? Nope I bet you haven't even seen one. If you watch any of my videos over the past 3 years I have beaten the crap out of these bikes. But you make an ignorant comment like that with no experience.
@@LCARSADV I found your channel when I was going to purchase one awhile back lol you’ve been defending them over and over. I was even in the Facebook group where people would post videos of their bikes literally fucked after one ride or bent rims etc and watching you die on the GPX hill to the point where I feel like you’re more than just a “spokesperson” for them 😂 these bikes are trash
And be worth about £3.50
Can't wait till you fire it up...
Already have, just doing some carb tuning now
Any American dealerships? Web site doesn't show.
Go to GPXmoto.com and click dealer locator. There a bunch across the country. I bought all mine straight from GPX
I would turn the foot peg pin around so if you lose the cotter pin you will be less likely to lose the footpeg pin.
A Keihin 36mm carb makes a 300 run pretty darn good. 40 mm not the right choice.
I would agree, the Britts already changed over to Keihin, and GPX USA is probably doing the same due to feedback.
Any idea what the 300 2 stroke HP is?
I think it’s 51
Nice! @@LCARSADV
29 whp, but power curve is not great because of the fixed ign timing. Ktm cdi makes an imrovement of curve and add 5 whp on top. (38 mikuni replica 25/450, stock neddle second clip)
Where do you get a rebuild kit from
For the carb?
@@LCARSADV the top end
@@balls7973 From GPX direct or a GPX dealer
I would just order from gpx. I had ordered a top end for my tse250r from them before.
I wonder if the KTM crank and piston work in it?
You’re going to make me regret getting the 300 4t
Nah, different animal. The 4t is a great bike as well. Less maintenance and longer lasting. Don't forget this 300r 2t is a high performance engine which sets it apart from the others. That 4t won't let you down!
@@LCARSADV I’m curios to the power compared to say a beta or ktm 300. I rode a buddy’s beta 300 and I could not see myself riding that in the trails. I was not comfortable on it at all. Felt like I could easily get carried away.
@@cc3775My first weekend out on it I had a friend that has Beta, Husky and KTM 300s. Before we had the suspension set up like LCars does now, he was amazed at all that the bike had out of the crate. He didn't push or test to give big comparison, but his main comment was that it would be a significant competitor with Beta for the lower cost 2 stroke option.
Give me one for vlogging😂
I don't even know what that means...
Enter this bike in a hard or extreme enduro and let's find out what it's really made from.
The guys in the UK already have, as they have been racing them for a while now. These bikes are solid. The 300 may be new so it's got some proving to do, but the rest of the GPX line up has already been vetted and they stand up to the abuse and are rock solid reliable.
Megsbraap just finished first in Pro Women class at the Page, Az Hard Enduro...after she has routinely put it through rough rocky terrain. I'm sure some will be harder on them, but she's not going easy on it.
how much horsepower ?
I think it's 50
How much hp have this bike?
50 ish I believe
Check the fuel vent tube to end to see if there is a check valve.
I've seen several of these Chinese pieces without a check valve.
They have a check valve
Ca legal? Kayo is
I don’t live in CA so I don’t know, but yes for NY
Cause if they did I’d get one
I'll be buying a used Japanese or European bike over one of these for the new prices GPX is asking.
Why? Then you wouldn't have as good of a bike? Gpx charges appropriate prices for the product they make just like anyone else would. You want cheap pricing, you gotta get a cheap junk bike.
@@LCARSADVyou would literally have the real thing, and not a knockoff if you bought a used ktm.
@@DeadRoman but I have a great bike that's brand new and costs less money and not used and abused old KTM? I fail to see the logic here. Just do what makes you happy and ride.
@@LCARSADV its a knockoff of an older model KTM. You can get the real thing used, several years newer, for less money than the gpx is new. I would rather buy a 2020 ktm300xc for 5k and do a little maintenance and have better equipment, than spend more money, for an out dated clone.
@@DeadRoman Nah I like my bike just fine! Pssss your KTM has chinese parts on it and they are owned by an indian company.
No body mentions the triple clamps are x trig looking too
It just bums me out the dont wire it for turn signals to easy make street legal
The wiring should be there though, the tse300 is the only one that doesn’t have them. At first I was kinda bummed but not really, as I don’t really ride it on the road much
It's just an older KTM.
The bike looks great. But sending your money to a Country that wants you to die, is not a good thing. Another good video though.
I do understand your point, but we all have crap made in China in our homes and whatever bike or car we have has parts made in China. I wish it wasn't so, but it is. I like gpx because they make new dirt bikes affordable again. A lot of people just can't afford 11k or more for a dirt bike. I'm happy with whatever gets more people on 2 wheels. We have to save this sport and get more people doing it. Thanks for the compliment!
I think this thing is 1:1 clone with ktm
Close, but no. For instance, the silencer is different. There is other frame differences as well
Chinese?
Yep!
Stolen valor
I thought this was an American bike built in Utah that is the #1 reason I'm thinking of getting is it to good to be true
ktm copy. Seems like huge payed campaign by biased reviewers recently
If I got paid that would sure be nice! Come back after you’ve actually ridden one and then give your opinion. You mock “biased” opinions by people who have actually ridden them but you yourself have not yet your opinion is valid?
@@LCARSADV i see direct design copycat from other brands without any license. This is clear fact. Listen your own review, everything so gooood - just look at it, its clearly stolen designs with subpar quality. Have some dignity
Its a flippen copy, no innovation on anyonrs part except ktm
Then buy a ktm. I’m happy.
