great video, and one i generally agree with. it's still fine to take breaks to do other things and avoid burnout, but it's good we've got everything you described here waiting for us. i'm just glad 14 doesn't punish you for taking a break, esp. compared to other MMOs in my experience
Yeah and honestly I will say, I'm probably going to make a part 2 to this because there's a lot more I can think of but I know that not everybody has heard of even some of the basic side content that more dedicated players take for granted so next up would be something a little more specific/unusual haha. And yeah, breaks are good too! I still play a lot of other games for sure
Good video! Tho i think all the points you've presented us can be summed up by having friends. No mater how great the content is without friends there is no reason to login besides saving your house.

Got all the bozja and eureka melees and all but scholar. Armors from bozja augmented and no +1 eureka though..Drs done , need Ba now.. need to find the discord.
The hardest thing for me is i have been playing since SB and have done all these things. Currently and finising mg TOP prog but after that and the limited content we get in 6.55, there isnt much to do. Alot of the stuff you are presenting is older stuff, which I think is my biggest issue.
I dont wanna take a break, i want to play the game and have some current content to do. Everything is so short snd lasts maybe 2-6 hours every patch and it gets really dull when inhave to stay subbed for my house and i have done all my relics over the last 5 years, did all the fights in the game and have done almost everything but pvp mounts and dumb grind achievements. I think thats the hardest thing, old players who have played slightly longer dont have anything to do. And its not people playing 100 hours a week, but people who just log on maybe 10 hours a week to do stuff.
Yeah if you've played consistently for a while, it is easy to blow through a lot. Some of the stuff is recurring for me because I make a new glam for every season at least haha but other things can only be done once.
I'm thinking of making a part 2 to this for veteran players that dives into specifics and more unorthodox things but yeah at a certain point, there isn't much to do and I wish there were more things for sure for all types of players!
try doing the side quests, not the blue ones but the yellow ones scattered everywhere, dont skip dialogues and bam you will rake so much hours trying to complete them.
@dusieqq I've do that all on expansion launch cause there is nothing to do outside of ex trials, leveling and farming fate/trust ranks.
@Sonicrida I'd love that actually! I've done so much in this game just by my pure time of playing the game a bunch, and that'd be interesting incase I missed some things. Or maybe there is a player who is in my same boat but doesn't know where to start!
@@furen4962 at this point ur only choice is to go touch grass :D its insane amounts of hours to complete it all without skipping.
Dunno how this ended up on my dash, but I quite enjoyed. Subbed at the start with the dig at all the EW hate, too true. A great video that covered pretty much everything you can do to keep away boredom.
I liked that you included RP which most people don't really think about.
Side questing can be a bit boring, but for those people that are story driven, side quests can give you a good bit of playtime while filling out the world.
The hate towards EW wasn't there because EW was a perfect expansion. It usually stems from actual real issues the game is facing and I for one am actually glad that people are willing to set aside their happy-go-lucky attitude and actually be objective about the state of the game.
Now, let's hope Dawntrail is even better!
@@TheCooderix for me it was mainly a matter of balance honestly. I'm super happy that people are willing to criticize the game. It was more that I kept hearing the same stuff over and over and it felt like people were milking the negativity after a point haha.
I saw a lot of people also feeling bad for having fun like they didn't deserve to so I just think we skewed so hard into the negative stuff that people kinda lost sight of what they did like or could be doing
This is a great point! Lots of cool bits of more you would otherwise miss out on.
And yeah rp can be a great time haha I will probably make a part 2 at some point! Lots more I can think of

No way anyone heard of bozja in the past 12 months. There is just no way for an actual FF14 player.
Huh? Literally full instances on weekends amd DR runs are up daily in PF.

Game had problems sure but non-youtubers / streamers don't have the same issues as streamers. They live in a different world. EW did have its issues but that was overwhelmingly cringe and I lost respect for a lot of FF content creators.
