i find it amazing that the black betty camaro rows through all, what, 6 gears in that thing on the 8th. it sounds ridiculous.
It's the convertor, it locks up it every gear making it sound like 2 shifts but it's only one and the next is the convertor locking up like in a diesel...
so first the second is one shift with the converter locks up halfway through first then shifts into second converter locks again halfway through second then shifts in the third converter locks halfway through third again making it sound like two shifts for every gear..
And he didn't even wreak it this time.
What's Jackson's car about 500 pounds lighter? If so.....way more impressed with the Fireball.

I thought it was standard rules, car's that fast, one's in the 3 seconds, there supposed have wheelie bar's, I know in Ennis Texas, if there's I minor thing off, you don't run.

the big hitters either didnt qualify or got knocked out in early rounds. atleast 5 of the car that were knocked out would have been able to crush stevie.

JvRacingVids I agree!! I’m no radial expert nor do I know anything about them ... but I do know drag racing and alky floppers. I think they shouldn’t of sprayed the track before RVW so much. During the day when it’s hot is one thing but at night the track seemed tight, and every one was shaking or doing wheel stands. I would think if they just drug the track at night it might of been a better show. Or spray it one class before RVW . I know the tire works completely different to what I’m used to and I could be wrong .
Wow, Ryan Martin from S/O showing up. Almost took Stevie OUT. Kind of makes you wonder what the rest of the top five would do there because I personally believe Chief/The Crow is faster.
not really any wonder, they already been there and got schooled.. Shawn,Daddy Dave, lil Country,and Ryan only ones been competitive . Big Cheif dont have enough,reaper dont, Etc..
Chris Harris -- Ryan Martin has a bad ass car and represents the 405 well but Stevie Jackson is one tough customer. He was chutes out early on most rounds. Final was good but Haney looked late at the light and that killed any chance he had. All and all fun race to watch.

b> He runs about 40% nitromethane in his tank to turn a 2000hp methanol race version of a Pontiac into a 3500HP fire-breathing dragon. The blower people don't mind forcing people to purchase a $100-150,000 engine and a $30,000 blower to actually be competitive versus guys like Stevie Jackson who have that money however they don't want the people to race who refuse to spend almost $200K on their engine just to attempt to be competitive.
You'll notice that every car that actually races a competitive race now is a screw-blown Hemi now. Oh, joy. Oh, the fairness.
