Love love love the idea of an emulating nature at home series! Exactly what I need! Would be great if you include soil mix recommendations for each plant as well
Just at the right time :) I got a new hoya about two weeks ago. I was naughty and only started doing research when it arrived. I was surprised to see everyone stressing that it was terrestrial instead of epiphytic. I did look more into it but most people were stressing the differences growth rather than the practical difference in care. I walked away and forgot to come back. This was very helpful
Haha, glad the timing was perfect! 😉🌿 Hoyas can be a little tricky like that, but now you’ve got the care basics down! Happy growing, and thanks for watching! 💚
Interesting. I hadn’t considered that the terrestrial plants would want more fertilizer. I may just go add some Osmocote to those ones so I can still water everyone the same!
So this is a tricky one, normally I grow them as a climber, but I think I have also seen them being grown as a crawler. Mine had only started sizing up when I gave it space to climb, if that helps 😊💚🌿
LOVE your geeky vids! Would be keen for an entire botany basics (and relating it to our babies) series 🥰

20:10 has me hearing “What about elevenses? Luncheon? Afternoon tea? Dinner? Supper? He knows about them, doesn't he?” 😂
😂😂 Haha, yes with the LOTR quote! I had completely forgot about that gem! 🍽🌱
Very interesting, thanks
Glad you found it interesting! 😊🌱 Thanks for watching! 💚

Thank you SO much! 💚🌿 Appreciate the love! 🥰
I have a monstera siltepecana that decided that it would start rooting itself to my living room wall, it's like living art now.
That sounds AMAZING! 😍🌿 Living art, indeed! Monstera Siltepecana is just doing its thing, and I love it! 🖼✨

Yesss, Osmocote is a great choice! 🌱💪 Mixing up those nutrients will definitely keep your terrestrials happy. Thanks for the love! 🌿✨
I'm late to the houseplantyparty, but thanks for another wonderful video!
Amazing, as always ❤ got my anthuriums. I will have to send pictures of the tiny babies on Instagram
Aww, I’d LOVE to see those Anthurium babies! 😍🌿 Definitely send pics over on IG! 💚📸
Would Thai Cons be terrestrial? I think I’ve heard that they’re crawlers
So this is a tricky one, normally I grow them as a climber, but I think I have also seen them being grown as a crawler. Mine had only started sizing up when I gave it space to climb, if that helps 😊💚🌿
