@PepperWuss oh I‘ve been passing enough, made it to S+0, got the shiny golden badge and am now waving goodbye to ranked. I have more fun trying out new weapons in turf than trying to sweat my way up beyond the highest letter rank
You might not get a Badge but SplatNet3 shows your highest rank record for Anarchy Battle.
So even though the Season reset I have visual proof for my S+50 journey.
Plus, after the season reset, you get to keep X Battles, so an extra ranked playlist

I’ve been playing as a back line weapon recently and I have to say, it’s quite peaceful 😌. Never noticed how chaotic it is playing front line. Great video👍🏾
If i play total backline i always feel like im "doing nothing" (even though im doing something, just not too much moving) so i feel bad and end up in awkward situations because i try to push like i would with a front-midline lol
@@breanda Yeah I use to feel like I was doing nothing playing with the heavy splatling, causing me to go to the front to feel like I’m helping. It sadly helped no one and I put my team in a lot of unnecessary 3 v 4. I’m better ,though getting 20 + splats sometimes actually feel like I’m contributing.
Someone who also uses dark tetra dualies! It is my fav splatoon weapon

I can't imagine this, I can't even manage to get to S+, I've done like 10 rank up battles and it seems like the system puts you against people significantly above your MMR because suddenly my winrate plummets to an abysmal rate and all my teammates seem to be weak players as well with very negative K/D spreads 😂 not a fan of the S3 ranked system so far. But definitely mad respect to people like you that are obviously way above my capabilities 😄 Earned my like :)
My teammates get so bad whenever I have a rank up battle. I literally see them just standing in one place facing a wall for like a minute. I could go around the map and they would still be standing in the same spot. I was starting to think that I would have to block some players because they wouldn't disconnect from the match but just wait for it to be over. It is not my internet because everyone else in the match can move and no one is disconnecting or lagging
Felliw Tetra player here and I do the same call out the kill before they're dead way too much and at this point its driving my mates insane 😭
I've been slacking bruh I thought X rank wasn't coming until 2023 so when i woke up to the news it was december first, i instantly said I needed to start grinding because it was my goal to hit S+ 50 in this game but I didn't know X rank would be coming so soon 😭

I go up and down in levels, this game won't allow me to win. Shooting somebody in an ink storm and they are still able to kill me and survive. 3 direct hits with a sloshing machine and they still live and they turn right around one hit and I am instant dead.
This is cool and all but then you realise that Your rank is gonna get reset to S+10 for X battles/Rank

Congrats on your max rank and good luck in X when it returns! I've been playing Squelchers but my aim after rolling isn't particularly good. Are there any tips you can give on improving aim after rolling? Or is it just the case of practising until it clicks?

But that was after a bunch of grinding for money for shellout machine and a bunch of grinding for the 5 star splatana wiper badge

Sup Chase. If you want can you make a in-depth guide for Tetra dualies? I remember you saying in one of your precious vidoes that if someone requested to make a in-depth video for a dualie weapon you might consider doing it. One example you can do is some strategies for tetra depending what game mode your playing. Or when to use some of your aiming drills in a match
Hi! A guide is coming, but I don't know when. I simply just don't have time right now. But in the meantime, I recommend you check out my in depth tetra guide for Splatoon 2. Tetras are pretty much identical to how they were in 2 (just with a different special) so everything I said there can be applied to this game as well.

S+50 is challenging enough but S+50 maximum is insanity. This must be channel host job to grind that many hours ha ha.

i mean i think it's silly that you can get matched up with ranked that are below/above you. it just makes it feel even more random

Maybe it's against Nintendo's philosophy or something but I feel it would be nice if they would even attempt to have the matchmaking system make a team comp that resembles something sensible, instead of you know, two blasters, an inkbrush and a heavy splatling on zones 😂

as a tetra player, in what situations should i run haunt?
i wouldn't say there are "certain situations where you should and shouldnt run it." it's just a thing where if you like it, you run it, if you don't like it, you don't. haunt is good on tetra because the ability to "respawn punish" someone without any drawbacks is really good. plus, you can of course see the people youre haunting through walls which is a nice bonus.
