@@heldtheflashlightfordad6728 truck would look even better if you painted the rims black. Just like Jeremy at weldtech likes to raise RV and black out the rims and front grills.
Thanks for watching! I used a scotch Brite pad to scuff up the chrome center caps and sprayed them with black bed liner. They still look good even after 3 years
Do you have air bags in the back? I have a 13 gmc dually. Been back and for with keys to level up front. I haul over 20k lbs and and the back squats just a lil bit, I think if I put keys on the front will be higher with the load unless you have bags to level back out…. How is your set up? And is there any difference with towing with keys and without the keys ?
I have air lift bags in the back, and 2" keys cranked. Towing is still very comfortable, I run about 50-60psi in the bags when I'm towing heavy, and the truck sits perfectly level. I keep the bags empty when unloaded. Otherwise, the truck is way too bouncy
Nice set up, If I deside to go as big tires as possible without having to use spacers for the back wheels, do I need to go with 265/70 r17? I love your set up but I am not sure about getting spacers . Thank you for your response in advance
I ran 265/70 r17's before this set. The rear duals touched each other at full load, so I used 1/2" spacers. If it makes you fell better, I have hauled very heavy loads for thousands of miles with my current setup, no issues. Buy quality spacers and use a torque wrench.
@@heldtheflashlightfordad6728I just installed 255s with more aggressive sidewalls and I have a 1/4 inch between the tire fully loaded.. Wondering if it's okay...no spacers
Your lost of words has me confused, does the inner tire touch the leaf spring or it has 2.5 inches of clearance. Common sense says it’s 2.5 but I just want to clarify as I’m trying to stuff 315 on my dually
Thank you for doing this! Can i ask a favor? I have been looking at tires on tirerack and the dimensions are all over the place as far as tread/section width with the same tire "size". Could you measure the actual tread width on your tires? I assume an inch wider will rub worse than what you mentioned so if i have a baseline to go off of that would really help. Thanks again
Hello again, I just purchased the tires I want to go with and now I am getting the wheel spacers but haven't been able to figure out if i need hub centric spacers for the rear or not. I believe the factory hub should be long enough even with the spacers but I don't have time to waste if I guess wrong. Any advice on that? And thanks again you really are helping

Yes sir, I have torsion keys up front cranked and that's it. I did have to trim the mud flaps and inner liner since I posted this video. I was getting a nasty rub if I turned sharp off road.
Bad setup! About to do this same thing to my 06 LBZ dually. Perfect stance bro nice video thanks!
dude... nailed it... sweet setup. Keep it up....
Thank you!!
Looks amazing. Love it. The tires are wide but not too wide to look bad.
Thank you.

@@HealthSupercharger I'm the same way, I like a clean look. It's real easy to go overboard.

Thanks for the content.I have been going back and forth on what size to run on my 1987 4door 4x4 flatbed dually. They look good.
Oh man, the late 80's duallys are my favorite. It'll look good with some bigger tires.
Bro, outstanding look. Thanks for the video. also I’ve been searching for black dally center caps for my 22 Dually. Where did you find yours?

thanks your right, not a lot of info out there.

awesome truck! my 2020 3500 Dually Denali have stock 235 80 17 , you think I can do 255 55 17 love the toyo tires recommend appreciated
Bro, nice setup
Appreciate it!
How wide is your rim? This is my biggest issue. Can I fit a 295 with a 6.5 wide rim or not. I know I’ll need a spacer for the rears
My rims are the standard 6.5 wide dually wheels

Have you seen 270/85r17? I’m running grandpa 255/80r17 (33’s). 😅
Just let you know if you let the sidewall touch eventually it'll wear a hole in it

Hope that helps.

Would u do this on a dump truck same size? Cool video
I don't see why not. You will want to buy the top of the line wheel adapters since you'll be hauling heavy loads.
Are your torsion bars turned up?
Did you do a level kit on the front?
Yes, had to.
Did it raised the height a bit?with 290’s?
Absolutely, if I park next to a stock dually, mine sits quite a bit higher.
can you tell me what sidesteps you have please
