Love those green tomatoes! I put up some pickled green tomatoes a couple years ago and I'm still snacking on them. Never thought to useing them for jam or marmalade. Gotta try it. Many thanks.
I usually make tomato mincemeat with my green tomatoes. 1 gallon pitcher each ,of apples and green tomatoes, chopped fine. Skins on. Plus one big box of raisins. Mix with white vinegar ,brown sugar, molasses and spices. Put in a pot, bring to a boil, let simmer a bit.then place in a large roaster and place in the oven ,to reduce the liquid. Yum. I like to serve it on French toast or in pies.i am going to try this recipie, because I love marmalade. Thanks for sharing.
I have quite a lot of green tomatoes left after frost hit this year, so I will be making up some of this marmalade. Thanks so much for sharing, Bev. Love your vids
I also love Brown Sugar (Dark). This is an awesome looking Marmalade. I love Fried Green Tomatoes so I usually do that. Also we have growing season very long down in South Louisiana so we eat ripe tomatoes until Dec. I hope to have a load of them one day to give this a try. Thanks for sharing. Take care.
@Witchyone131 Thank you! There is LOTS I can't do..that my husband or son does..like carrying feed bags...hay bales and water buckets..lifting 50 pound bags of flour..all the heavy stuff..I had 6 hernias repaired at once this spring and am destined to forever wear a hernia belt around my middle ...There are more video coming..but this week my sitting room is stuffed into my kitchen because the sitting room is getting renovated and a wood stove installed. Talk to you soon!
I made 25 pints of green tomatoe mincemeat with my tomatoes this year. Next year I will try the marmalade. I have made carrot marmalade years ago and it was a hit so I hope the green tomatoe will be great as well.

@mmlrc6atgmailcom My Pleasure! I saw all those green tomatoes...and thought you might like something different..normally I make relish out of green tomatoes..but this recipe was so good..And I enjoyed having variety for the extra..I would make mince meat..but none of us eat it?
I never had this in my life I never canned anything by myself before in my life, and after seeing this I want to do it so badly now. Mrs. Volfie can you come to my house so I can have someone to do this with? 😊
Did you overdo the Ginger or was it just as good cold? One thing I notice when you make Preserves, you don't test for a set. Do you do that off camera?
you aRE qUITE WELCOME!
Made this marmalade yesterday and it's really nice. It did take a lot longer to cook but still worthwhile. Thank you.

This takes me back to my childhood...good ole days.
Made this tonight. All of your recipes remind me of my momma.
