How to do on Nintendo switch

I play Hogwarts Legacy on the Switch, and whenever I try to do the wait option (I must click R) it’s just switching between the Moduls (task, settings,..) Can someone help me please?

I learned today, you have to use the second little joystick as a button, the one that is on your right next to the letter B, just push it, don’t even use the R.

So the game is soft locked. I have to progress time to rescue a Mooncalf and there is no R3 on any map screen. PS5. IF anyone ever figures this out I may come back to the game but 28 hours in I am done now. I deleted the game and re installed as well. Nadda
