hey all! just wanted to make things clear. I do not condone to revving a cold engine! which is why i revved it very minimally in this video and only so you guys could get a feel for the sound from the deletes without having to wait for my car to fully warm up. (:
Nope, that's 2.5GT with the wrx engine and STI engine Block parts, it's an STI at heart, also the legacy was first for rally racing, so actually the legacy should be the one with the wing, not the STI.
@Michael Arkell "should be" but it wasn't, the Wing came out with the impreza not the legacy therefore does not belong on a legacy, its the equivalent of putting a scooped bonnet and wrx wing on a N/A impreza, clean your crack pipe out and put it away
@@jamiewalker9501Well this wing actually looks like ass on the car that's for sure, they made a wing for the Legacy GT that looks better and isn't the size of the earth lmao.
Brian Gutierrez the resistor is in place for the egt sensor in the catted up pipes. You unplug the sensor and throw in a 2.2ohm sensor in there whenever you switch to a catless upipe. With the resistor, there is no CEL
@@elneigro0 it won't. the UP cat isn't being monitiered by the secondary o2 sensor like the downstream cats are. its simply for the EGT probe that resides behind the UP cat. the resistor just tricks the ecu into thinking the probe is still in there reading at a certain temperature (1800°F or something like that, cant remember at the moment) no issues in doing this, many have done it.
Not that I noticed. When I did the catless up pipe it just seemed to decrease the school time a couple 100 rpm lower. I believe I did this when the car was on the stock tune and I didn't notice any difference in mileage. The main reason people do the up pipe is to avoid having catalytic converter pieces or the egt tenp probe destroy your turbo if they were to fail

Sound sweet and looks sweet but the enormous wing is a no no imo. Thanks for posting
That spoiler LMFAO
you're a hater
Hella funky spoiler
Ordinarily, I hate wings, but I actually like this one. Makes it look like a WRX if you only see it for a second.
how much did the shop charge you to do this?
whats going on with that lil resistor?

Put that baby in there when you pull the catted up pipe with o2 sensor. No CELs....or at least on 05 LGT
I wonder if that would work with the catless dp as well?

that wing should not even touch that car
xlennox beats but.. but.... rice is life 🙄🙅🏻♂️
Legacy was the first subaru to rally race, so actually it's deserved, also the legacy had a STI version outside of the US.
hey man do you get any worse gas mileage for putting in the up pipe??

@hey pal, that sti wing doesnt belong on your car
Don't know what to tell you. Lol its not going anywhere.
CarbonAccord I don’t see the problem lol
You DO realize there are STi versions of the Legacy that we didn't get in the States, right?
You do realize the legacy came first way before the impreza for rally racing so fuck off lol.
