Hoping the wider niche product is ready before my build at the end of 2024. Looks like a great product.

As an LED guy it kills me that its only 3000K, at least they mention high CRI*, but you gotta offer 2700K and 3000K to fit with both modern and traditional light schemes (id argue 2700K or bust)

Looking for some free advice here, bud… I’m installing some Halo LED lights. I can set the light between 6 to 2000. I just want nice what do you recommend? It’s a rental property. So nice as in vanilla. Something everyone likes.

@@NathanHarrison7 3000K is a happy medium between the cold look of 4000 and up.

I've worked with pixel lighting quite a bit, and most recently silicone tube lighting so this is cool to see. I personally prefer the stainless steel corner shelves, and it would be interesting to see a product that does something similar with the lighting

Excellent from both of you ✨✨✨✨✨ Building is getting more and more exciting! As a side aspect: I know that costs may be relative, more so for NS Builders (!), but it would be interesting to have an absolute idea and how it does compare to what you would consider alternatives or close options.

NEEDS TO BE LONG SIDE LED not SHORT SIDE. Short-sighted design.

The color K level matters if your overhead lighting is not the same. It will look odd in the bathroom.

I always purchase 4700° kelvin high CRI LED light strips. As for power supply I prefer a true transformer for providing low voltage to a rectification circuit to provide DC for the lighting. I avoid switching supplies in wet environments since many times they could be an issue with leakage current from the mains. Believe it or not, I was getting shocked by an Apple power supply, yes authentic and not a cheap ripoff. I took a measurement of the connector to ground and found 90 plus volts to ground.
Now all power supplies should be protected by a GHCI protected supply that are used in bath and kitchen lighting.

Too blue for many bathrooms, especially with golden fixtures.. Cold.

What is a true transformer? Like a meanwell power supply?

Just needs RGB and I'm in. Any color, any brightness and I'll redo my entire master bathroom. Also, what happens when one of the LEDs go out?

so does the peel and stick make it more DIY friendly without thinset underneath? just the recommended primer?

Niche is set the wrong way, definitely needs to have more options until I buy any of these lights.

I'd like to see a warmer light. 3000k doesn't equate to relaxing light.

96 CRI so you could paint your oil paintings next to the bathroom niche lol.. overkill in a good way i guess.

No one, absolutely no one, needs their shampoo bottle illuminated. (Speaking as someone with terrible vision.) Shower niches lose any potential aesthetic the moment the bottles/bars/cans/razors/scrubbies/cloths are added.

Not if you change out the original containers for a beautiful and more economical set of pump action dispensers. Make them a feature instead of unsightly - just an idea - I will do this when I update my shower room. Don't spend all that money and then not think about the small everyday things that are easy to change up for something more aesthetically pleasing.😁

Mood lighting is key here, mood lighting is so understated in bathrooms , who wants to bathe under bright down lights?

@schlutersystems1 should have made the light tunable.
