Lovely. I have a good chunk of quartz sitting on my shelf. If I thought I had an inkling of the talent it takes to do something like this I would try. But I can't even draw well.
If you have patience, and enough sandpapers it IS something anyone can do with a steady hand and a good eye, but just not these complex cuts, those take years of practice
@@mixedmediaartgirl300 I lack the steady hand... And good eye. Patience and sandpaper is both easy for me. However its everything else that I call talent.
Thanks for watching. I'm still in the testing phase myself to be able to achieve better results. I will share my experiences on my channel over time. I use a Dremel Fortiflex with handpiece. The accessories are very different, at the moment I have mounted tips that cut too coarsely for my taste. I will soon look around in dental technology to find finer grits but in the meantime I have found diamond grinding pastes in different grits for grinding and polishing, which i will test next.
do a hardness test... try to scratch it with a known diamond... I know.. everyone knows what quartz is... but.. check.. only takes a minute... vielen Dank ✌️
the eye gives me the creeps, but i really like the spokes, rays, decorative flowery things. very creative!
Thanks for watching and your Feedback 👍
