In this episode I'm still in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and I'll be eating Eggs Benedict & Monkey Bread at Blue's Egg for Breakfast, checking out thousands of bobbleheads at the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame Museum and finally dropping by the Lakefront Brewery to take the beer tour and eat their famous Deep Fried Cheese Curds and Pot Roast Poutine.

ABOUT LAKEFRONT BREWERY
Lakefront Brewery, Inc. is a brewery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States. The brewery is based in the Beerline B neighborhood of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Founded in 1987 by brothers Russ and Jim Klisch, several of its brands are named after Milwaukee neighborhoods, such as Riverwest Stein Beer and East Side Dark. The brewery was the first in the U.S. to bottle fruit beer since prohibition was repealed, starting in 1992 with the seasonal Lakefront Cherry Lager. The brewery often uses Wisconsin-grown ingredients, including Door County cherries.
The brewery produced the first certified organic beer to be bottled in the U.S. starting in 1996 with their Lakefront Organic E.S.B. (extra special bitter). The ale is brewed using 100% organic malt and hops. President, owner and founder Russ Klisch started a partnership with Wisconsin farmers to grow organic hops in his home state.
In May 2007, The Wisconsin Department of Tourism announced that Lakefront Brewery had become the first brewery in the state and the first business in the City of Milwaukee to receive the Travel Green Wisconsin certification. Travel Green Wisconsin recognizes tourism-related businesses that are reducing their environmental impact through operational and other improvements. To achieve Travel Green certification, businesses must meet several goals including demonstration of how they encourage staff and vendors to be environmentally aware and how they reduce their waste and energy consumption.
The brewery is noted for its gluten-free brand, New Grist, which is brewed using sorghum and gluten-free yeast. The brewery successfully petitioned the U.S. Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau to allow this product to be called a beer despite not having the previously required 25% malted barley content, thus creating the first gluten-free beer in America.
Growth of the brewery has been strong in recent years, especially due to the gluten-free product. The brewery shipped 8,863 barrels of beer to wholesalers in 2006, a 2,571 barrels, or 41% increase from the 2005 total. The success of the gluten-free product has attracted competitive interest from other brewers, large and small.

Awesome to see that you got to sample some great food in Milwaukee besides just the gas station stuff. Blue’s and Lakefront are solid choices. Been on that brewery tour probably over 100 times through the years and it’s always a lot of fun. They have the best and funniest tour guides. Glad you got to enjoy it!

Having a state of emergency in Southeastern Kentucky where I live do to extreme flooding. We’re safe but trapped behind flood waters now for 3 days and counting. Haven’t been able to watch your new videos but will as soon as I can. I know they’ll all be good.

Lean GroundBeef people spell it different in different parts of the world. I believe scotch usually does not have an e in it but I’ve noticed Makers Mark (a Kentucky bourbon) has “Whisky” written on it as well.
Breakfast is the meal i miss the most but it is also the best meal to eat! That whole meal looked amazing!

A good Eggs Benedict is worth the travel! It’s the king of breakfast.

The owner of Blue's Egg is an incredibly generous person, he does a lot for his community. I had the good fortune to meet him through my alumni association and he is always involved in our community service projects. Collectivo makes a great cup of coffee, so good choice. And Lakefront Brewery gives one of the best tours I've been on. You hit up a whole bunch of awesome places in one day.

I'm a little curious if the service at Blue Egg was so good because you were recording. They know about social media and all that, so you may (and I say may, because I've never gone, would love to hear other people's experiences with their service) have gotten the extra special treatment service wise because of the camera.
I've always had good service there and I've been going since they opened many years ago.

The true Wisconsin way to eat fried curds is with marinara. By the way, I am inviting you to come to the Minnesota State Fair this summer! It is August 27-September 7. It started in 1852 and sprawls over 322 acres. There are 300 plus food vendors and over 500 different foods to chose from. Sweet Martha's cookies bake over 3 million cookies PER DAY and right next door is the all you can drink milk bar! lol. It is the second largest fair in the U.S. and you need to attend!!

Dude, this is great. Blues Egg is a staple. And every time I try and go to the bobble head museum it’s always closed. Collectivo is amazing especially the location you went to. It’s right next to CP mainline. Great spot for railfanning.

monkey bread is so fun to eat with your hands! this looks different... usually they're bunches of balls of dough cooked together so you pull them apart! it still looked amazing tho!
that concoction on top your coffee was due to the sauce splitting the oils (fats) and waters, so the fats rise to the top
