Queen's music is literature. It can be taught in text books. A classic, an art. What Beethoven was to symphony, Shakespeare to plays and Milton to poetry, and this is my earnest opinion. They should be included in literature as a Queen of music - by music I mean all genres - first one to inculcate opera in rock - first one to introduce video - first one to conquer large stadiums - first one to be a global icon from the far East to beunos Aires to Africa - first one to walk bare feet - first one to introduce ballet - first one to wear tights - first to cross the borders of eastern Europe - first one to have in a group where all the members had written global hits - and the first and last one to have the audience in the palm of their hands - The only ones to start a group and end with the same members - comes rain or shine - Queen is Freddie, John, Roger and Brian. The first and probably the last to dare confess and keep their oath to the audience "we'll be together until we fuckin die I am sure." The best performers in history - Live Aid. First all of whom were grads.
3:30... I was in that crowd with my auntie, and if I live to be ninety years old, I will always remember the sight of the rock's greatest showman strutting out from that dry ice holding his mic aloft. Of course, I've seen that moment many times over the last thirty-six years, but can still remember being there and seeing it for the first time.
After watching this amazing concert saddens you knowing there won't be anything like this Any more. Freddie was just pure class and in a total league of his own
What an epic concert! What a Show! As Brian said "they will never forget having played in Wembley", but I'm sure: also the rest of the world will never forget those concerts!
You are the CHAMPIONS! Of the world!! Forever! I loved this interview! You are Fantastic! I feel many things watching this video. I LOVE ALL OF YOU!❤🎉❤🎉
I was born on the date of their final concert in Knebworth. I would do anything to have been born 20 years earlier and to have had the opportunity to see Freddie live. I saw Queen + PR in 2008, and they blew my mind. I can only imagine what the real Freddie would have been like.
I was at Knebworth , we queued up on the A1 motorway , on the way to the concert , it was fabulous for me ,as a Queen fan from early on , and it will stay in my memory ,forever.
This was the greatest concert I ever watched even not on real... and i do love queen, and freddie now and forever, and a big thank you to roger, brian and john who did great too in this concert and thank you to all staff to completed the show.. 💚❤️💜💙💗
11:26 "We knew each other so well" I actually agree, they did, regarding all aspects and only pretended until late '90 to not when was about Freddie. But thats fine, i would do the same.
Myself and my husband were there at Wembley and at the front at Knebworth!! So many good memories..like running the pitch at Wembley to get to the front..one of the very few times I ever ran!!! Our two boys have Queen middle names...the eldest has Taylor..and the little one has Freddie!! I had a hamster called Brian..and my husband came from Oadby and went to the same schools as John!!! 🖤💜🖤💜
ok...there were 5 musicians in the band, please when you talk about it, include spike edney....he played organ and some keys and guitar in those gigs!!!!!
Yes on the live concerts - and not. from the beginning - he started to play so Freddie could perform on the front of the stage. He is still with Queen when they perform with Adam Lambert - but not backstage - he is playing and singing together with a bassist and a drummer - and all 6 of them receives the applaus at the end of the concert -. He is also part of the band in Rogers solo concerts
26 :30 26:38 the queen' crown and not the king' crown and that's for sure lol !!! ihhiihiihhihi hi hih hi hi hi hhihi i hhi hi hi hi hi hi hi hihi hi hihi h
They do glaze over him though. I think he was an important part of the band and wrote some of their greatest songs. You’re my best friend is the most played song on USA radio
Being an important part of the band is different from doing the singing. What you commented on was that they mentioned having only three voices to work with. From everything I have heard that is accurate because John only sang if absolutely necessary. So when planning the singing parts for the concerts they were mostly working with three voices.
Queen were at their absolute best in 1986... it was ashame it was their last ever tour.

Imagine what songs they would create. We have been robbed ;( Love you Freddie!

Greatest band ever
If Freddie would still be alive rock would still be a top hit. As well as other bands if they were still together.
They still are - their 'Greatest Hits' has sold over 7 million this summer - nobody else has! - So they are very much alive.
I watch queen film yesterday I loved it I just miss Freddie the legend
Both great concerts at Wembley have the double dvd never tire of watching them .Queen forever
Please make Brian and Roger Sirs! They deserve it for being rock stars and just great human beings!!!
Brian was knighted in 2023 ... Roger not yet...
Love you in 1979 till 2018💗 keep on rocking Q🎉💟💜💘💋

A bunch of cool dads becoming the best band of all time
They already were a spectacular band before they became fathers.
Roger and Brian are still going strong - now in their seventies - and granddads.

i wonder why john never does interviews anymore
I remember he saying "there's no Queen any more without Freddie.. this is over"
@@Andie27FM to which I entirely subscribe
Was anyone here in the comment section at that exact concert?

Naprosto super*****
3 voices? They all sang though 😂👍🏽
John Deacon didn't do much singing apparently. I've seen interviews where they say he only filled in little bits.
They do glaze over him though. I think he was an important part of the band and wrote some of their greatest songs. You’re my best friend is the most played song on USA radio

@@rosskirby507 and he is a formidable bass player.
I was there at the back.... It was pointless for me, so far away
todays stars kill it before the show cos they are late, then lame, then puke on the stage to make it lamer, and die at the end.
Marko vorih I know it’s very hard to find people who have the same talent back then but they are our there you just got to look harder
llll
Höh??????😅
Chills …
