Cole that’s the prettiest fish I’ve ever seen , that brown trout . Congratulations
An old man here, just thinking… How long will it take Houston to realize that how much he has learned to be a man by hanging out with his dad and other family men. How to act, carry on, to enjoy life without booze or drugs. Don’t change Houston, enjoy life and learn from your Dad and fine gentleman like the men that you were with on this trip. You are a fine young man yourself.👍
I just love Cole & Jay!
That fog on the river is beautiful!
With allergies and physical limitations, it is nice to fish with you. I went fishing every other day until two years ago. So I really appreciate this.
Houston, you are a truly blessed young man meeting akk of the outdoorsmen. So happy for you. 👏🏻👏🏻💖🇺🇸‼️
I'm here for the fish!!!❤❤
Well it's like the old Indian saying in Arkansas when you see the roosters in the Treetops the trout fishing is going to be good that day

I used to live an hour from the red river but now I live in pa I’m coming back to my hometown and hoping to remake some memories with my brothers you have inspired me a lot
Just found your videos and have been watching them over the past two days. I am really enjoying the sights and sounds of "Home". Yeah, I'm from Sulphur, graduated in 1965. We lived about 4.5 miles out north of town on Hwy 177. My parents were Barclay and Elva Martin. We had always planned on moving back when Mom and Dad could no longer take care of the farm but the May - 2016 tornado took out the house, and there was no way to fix it without tearing it down and building new. Mom and Dad decided they were too old to go through that process, so they got a place in town. When Dad died in 2019 we sold the place to Don Brown and he bulldozed everything and added it to his pastures. I spend a good deal of time just trying to picture your locations in my memory...
About the old .22 rifle you found...it appears to be a Stevens "Favorite" or "Crackshot". It probably is a .22 rimfire, but could be a .25 rimfire or even .32 rimfire. The larger rifles are pretty rare with the .25 rimfire being the rarest. .25 rimfire ammo is no longer made, but small batches of .32 rimfire ammo is occasionally run every few years. Stevens built these rifles around the turn of the century in 1900. The company and its various models were sold to the Savage Arms Company and they continued to make them for a few years. I hope you eventually get it back into action. They are fantastic plinking rifles and generally shoot better than most people that use them.
I never thought of groundhogs looking like beavers, but they sure do! Minus the bushy tail😂
What a great day of fishing looked like a really fun day
Wow the trout is abundant, my father would love this
We would catch clean & cook our trout. It was awesome with my family & Dad helping my siblings & I fishing that fresh water river.
I love the fog on the river. Beautiful.
Mist on the water - sweet. Very cool with the old trees in the water & Canadian Geese. Lol, on the release. Always gr8t to go fishing, eh. Stay safe & take care of you all. Thanks for sharing, eh :))
Good afternoon from Syracuse NY everyone thank you for sharing your adventures
Have stayed by that river many times always good times. Thanks for sharing looked like a ton of fun.
Yummm, you made me hungry for rainbow trout. I loved fishing at Big Lake near Springerville in the white mountains in Arizona. Always caught my limit and we would have a great meal. Glad you all had a great time.
That was awesome thank you for sharing. Have not caught rainbow are brown since I left Wyoming . Definitely some good eating there. God bless you and your family.
Those were some awesome browns you caught, I have only caught one in my life. I volunteered at a trout hatchery for a few years, so interesting right from milking the eggs till the day of release in the creeks.
Caught lots of rainbow trout in my day as well. Used to catch brown trout in a small lake in eastern Oregon with clear bobbers an dry flys.
That mist on the river looks like something out of the movies good luck fishing from New Mexico
Love your videos and enjoy watching them every time they come on. May the lord bless and protect you and your family and the animals
What a beautiful river.
Absolutely beautiful place, the fish were awesome!!
Daniel, that river is nothing compared to the Smith River, in Northwestern California, just below the Oregon border. You truly have never seen a more pristine river in the States, than it. Back in the sixties, when I was a kid, I watched my dad and others pull 40 pound, bright silver, salmon out of it, not to mention the steelhead, that come out of it. Google it, if you have never, and check it out. Plus, it is in Redwood country, where you will see some of the biggest, and oldest trees, around. Also, it runs right into the Pacific Ocean, a mere ten or so miles, from the best fishing holes! It was pretty magical, growing up there! I love your fishing videos! Can you tell?
This is one of the best videos of all time on UA-cam!!! My two favorite fish to eat are trout and salmon!!! Hands down! What a great episode!!! God bless!!!
We have some beautiful trout rivers here in SC but that is a beautiful place.
One of my favorite AFH videos ever; keep up the amazing work.
I was sitting at a stoplight today, behind a car that had a sticker on the rearwindow #lick it! I thought of Jakobi and Houston. ❤ Lol

Wonderful information on fish habitat 👍😊
So cool! I love trout fishing. I used to go all the time with my dad. ❤️
I'm so jealous of these fishing trips. Especially when you catch the catfish ones. Enjoyed and thanks.
When I was a teenager, we used to go up to the mountains in Colorado and fish the river for brown trout. We used worms we found under rocks in the water, best eating fish ever. Especially when fresh.
I was going to suggest to you and Houston to try trout fishing at Roaring River here in Cassville Missouri. Just down the road from me. I’d love to meet you all.
We are about 30 minutes from Bennett Springs it’s a trout park they raise a release them and you can feed the little ones my kids always loved that when they were little and then took there kids I live in Lebanon Missouri ❤️❤️❤️😊
When i come back there we always plan at least a day trip down to the springs. It is a beautiful place just to relax and enjoy life.

Very successful trip fellas!🐟🐠
Great video looks like you and Houston had a great time
Great trout fishing day.
Trout are beautiful.
Another awesome video. I have seen groundhogs 3 different times in trees here in Pennsylvania. It does make you laugh
Good to see u trout fish also, I did that growing up with my Dad. The easiest way I found to trout fish is go a few hours after they plant the river and U can just walk down along the bank. I did that one time and when they had planted albino trout and I got 2 limits with a net. It was awesome!
Hey Daniel, what does it mean, hit up your gif and win a prize?
What a cool day of fishing 😊😊. Enjoyed your video 😎
Another great fishing video. Nice trout fishing on a nice river. The scenery was simply amazing.

Seeing all those trout makes me want to load up and head up to Yellow River Forest in North East Iowa to tear into some trout!
Really fun video… everyone was catching and y’all seemed like life long buddies. I spend my high school years playing and working on Greers Ferry so I love the area. Thanks for sharing!
