  • Hello and welcome to this episode of ABD TV where we aim to answer all of those burning questions, clear up the confusions and leave you brimming with knowledge. Today we’re answering a comment left on our last video.
This comment was suggesting that we were correct about a red LED behind a red lens, but in the case of an Amber lens, you are actually better off with a white led instead of amber.
So in this episode of ABD TV we put this to the test.

Thank you for the actual example, and letting people decide rather than just stating one way or the other. Personally, I'll go with Amber behind Amber, after seeing this, when I was leaning towards white.
Very informative, and to the point, without lots of extra nonsense.
    Much appreciated!

And what prevented you taking this outside in the daylight and outside at night?

There are LEDs that have both amber and white in the same bulb known as switchbacks, but they would probably be suited more for the front and only if you have a clear lens.

Did you find a answer😄 I'm wondering myself if Amber led through a white lens looks yellow?
