I picked up the Space 1 for 75 usd on Prime Day. I really liked the sound signature after hear id and using Acoustic eq that boosts the mids. As Rohan has said, the mids boost really helps Soundcore. I love the comfort on the Space 1; it is much lighter than q30. The ANC and microphone both work great. Zoom calls have been good so far. Just have used this for a month. So, I would say don't sleep on the original Space 1.
I also have the space one and, as you mentioned, it works fine for music and zoom call too. The ANC is super good too! I have been using it since March and I love it.
I still have my refurbished Space Q45’s, which I only use indoors; I haven’t had to replace them. They really just need to condense the design of the cans to improve them. The comfort is already there, they improved the headband, they improved the ANC, but somehow the battery life is lower and the cans ONLY look smaller? It really seems like Anker is struggling with the RND-side of things; which is unfortunate. I would rather stick to Soundcore as a brand than anything else competing against it, but that is getting harder and harder. Cheers guys, thanks for the review.
For me, part of Soundcore branding is premium-like features at non-premium prices. At $200 these need to perform at the same level or higher as their competition. At $200 I'm giving a HARD look at the higher tier heaphones like Sony/Bose/Airpods Mac/etc. You can find XM4's which are still better than the Q45's for less than $200.
Thanks for covering each aspect guys ♥ And also thanks for comparing it to the Q45 instead of just the Space One. I litterally just got the Q45 and when I was making the dicision it crossed my mind what if Soundcore releases a new one right after I get the Q45, and it actually happened 😂 But fortunately (for me) they didn't really gave their all in the Space One Pros, so I am still happy about my purchase 😄
Honestly still quite happy with the old Q35, banger sound. I think prospective S1Pro owners can take some comfort in fw updates. Every SC product I ever had got updated, and they MUST address that 'Aristocrats' level joke 😜of a call quality.
One of my favourite review channels and my go to for headphone information. Great content and pace, wicked sense of humour and an Aristocrats T shirt too. Couldn’t ask for more !
Thanks for your brutal honesty in this review! I actually sent back the Q45's because my set had a weird tunneling effect on the midrange that I couldn't EQ out. On the other hand, I love my Q30's that still sound amazing. These seem pretty flawed for a flagship product so I'll stick with my Q30's for now and maybe focus on their earbud side of the lineup which I've had more luck with. It's too bad because I'm a big Soundcore fan!
2:04 For me, I do not consider it as a bag at all. One of the benefits of a good, closed bag is that it will protect the headphones from moisture or dust during travel, or when you store them. Also, if they are closed, you can add moisture-wicking bags, and every time you put them in the box, you will ensure that there is no moisture in them. If it is a strong box, it will ensure that the pressure will be on the bag if it is placed in a bag or with other items, without this causing pressure on the cups or hinges. Something like a bag. People may think it is simple, but it is important
I bought the q45 last year and I'm glad i didn't chose the space ones because they didn't seem like a good upgrade, but the space one pros seems like a great upgrade. I love the anker keeps making great headphones for a really friendly price. Love your videos, u guys are the reason I bought the q45 over the space ones, you always make the best comparisons.
Great review, thanks! I think I'm still going to go with the Q45 based on the lack of wear detection and the bassier sound profile of the pro. Too bad as I would have liked the improved ANC.
I don't even know why I'm looking at reviews of these, I am very happy with the pairs I have and don't plan on replacing them anytime soon. I'm guessing that I just like to he up to date on all the headphones and how they stack up to what I already have and the competition. Anyway, rambling aside, this has to be the most detailed and most helpful review of these I've seen... Which is expected coming from your channel. Other videos would make it more tempting for people to pull the trigger and buy these, myself included sometimes. If I was considering buying these before I watched this review, I wouldn't think twice about stopping my purchase after watching this. That sound signature is definitely not something I enjoy, and the call quality is some of the worst I've heard in a while (perhaps can be fixed with an update) I know that EQ can sometimes fix the sound, but based on previous experience with their products, their EQ bands are not very useful. I am grateful for your reviews, a nice balance between subjectivity and objectivity.
I just bought the Q45's a few weeks back. I love them and don't feel a need to upgrade. Although I do like the new look of the cans. The Q45's look a bit Princess Leah side buns.
$199 with no discounts in the US is insane. I can see these being $50 cheaper by black friday so I'll wait. Also why did they go with the Space One Pro and not a Q45/55 Pro?
Humph 🤔 I think Soundcore is getting lost 😮💨 Because, let's face it, when you're not Sony, Bose, Sennheiser but especially Apple 🍏 or its pupil, Beats, you can't afford to release $200 headphones 🎧 with this packaging and without proximity sensors for automatic play-pause 🤷🏽♂️ I don't doubt the quality of these Soundcore Space One Pro, but past the $150-$200 price mark, people look first to the big brands, and especially that headphones 🎧 like the Sony XM5 but especially the Sennheiser Momentum 4 are quite often around $250-$300, unless the price of these Soundcores drops quickly to $150 maximum, I think it's going to be complicated for Soundcore to sell them well.
Thanks DHRME for the review. I'm a bit disappointed with the Space One Pro. I just bought the Life Q20i for the gym. Amazon €29.99! Great. Obviously not the newest and best model, but the ANC is OK and it's enough for training! And it have a Bass-Bust-Botton🎧
Would definitely have gotten these if there was a low latency mode on these. I'm surprised that's such a rare feature in overhead style headphones while other Anker buds have these.
Ive used both for weeks. Straight up the Space ones are more comfortable than the pros. Hands down! Space ones cradle your ears in comfort and remain cooler than the pros. I enjoy the sound signature better. The wear sensor is sweet, and the overall use is easier to adjust than the Bose Ultra. Still in love with the Bose though.
Only a few improvements from current Space One when it comes to sound quality. If this is your first Headphone get this or Q45 but if you have an existing Space One I think no need to upgrade. Key features over Space One: Battery life has 50hrs instead of 40hrs with ANC on Noise cancelling has 4 steps now compared to 3 of Space One This is compact size compared to Space One Price point Space One is $100 and Pro that is priced to $199. Pro can be folded into a donut shape.

Awesome review again. I literally bought the Space Q45s before the Space One Pro launched and it looks like there's no clear winner between the two as far as I am concerned. One question though, I noticed that you state that the Space Q45s have LESS BASS when ANC is on which is the opposite of what you guys heard in your comparison video against the XM5s (and my personal experience). Was there a firmware update or that caused this change? Again, thanks for the good review as always. Cheers!
Wow! These were the three models I wanted a comparison of... Great review! Did you have the Side Tone feature on while testing calls. Another reviewer mentioned it makes the call quality sound poor.
My question is, although the out of the box sound is worse, will it be similar or better after using the eq? I like my tuning on my q45 way more than the stock tune, but wouldn’t mind the anc upgrade and lack of pressure/hiss they have.
12:28 Is it reasonable that lowering the BASS EQ will solve the problem or is it a defect in the driver? You are saying that it is not important, it is the most important thing because most people who will buy these headphones will use them with ANC. I hope to see a comparison with SONY ULT soon, as I feel that it is the strongest competitor to these headphones at this price.

@@DHRME thank you for providing your measurement. this way other can better determine when how much dB is necessary to even out for a neutral bass.. apparently there is a algorythm working at 80hz to bump all kind of kick thumps.. i wrote anker to fix this issue and they said, they are interested to look into it and are aware of the overpowering bass. i suggested they work on an EQ that works like Nothing brand EQ and they said they really like the idea. let's hope for the best

Don't waste money for Space One Pros with piece of rag instead of a case. Buy Q30.'s They still sound way better and have a proper hard case. Since Q30 Anker haven't made any decent headphones.
That mic test results is prob the worst Ive heard, maybe look for the q30s instead.
OMG that case Soundcore has gone WOKE😮. You can get the Sony XM4s and the ULT for very close to the same $$ as these. Thanks guys you're honesty is much appreciated. 💯🇺🇸
Woke? Dafuq?
It's not available
200 dollar....well no way. Include the case now! and upgrade your mic's Soundcore
All we needed was a Q45 refresh with a fews upgrades for $150.
This is disappointing
De link naar Amazon doet niks, heren!
Voor de space one pro? Die lijken nog niet beschikbaar te zijn in Nederland :(
@@DHRME ja die idd. Aha duidelijk.
They've copied Apple - remove function (with courage), and call it a feature...so the Pro's are feature packed 😅
guys use Wavelet for android to fix the bass ok
Thanks. BTW you can use parameters from our squiq to generate a Wavelet EQ to your target curve. Enjoy. :)
@@DHRME thank you for providing your measurement. this way other can better determine when how much dB is necessary to even out for a neutral bass..
apparently there is a algorythm working at 80hz to bump all kind of kick thumps.. i wrote anker to fix this issue and they said, they are interested to look into it and are aware of the overpowering bass. i suggested they work on an EQ that works like Nothing brand EQ and they said they really like the idea. let's hope for the best
normal space one goat?
