The Omega has so much going for it- the dial pattern, balanced date position, bulkier "I can dive at any moment," tool-forward attitude...
But the Rolex takes this contest because of it's attention to subtlety. Slightly smaller. Slightly lighter. Slightly slimmer. Still a stalwart of immediate recognition.
What cements my opinion is the absence of an HEV-less SM option. I can easily forgive a cyclops. At this point, a cyclops isn't a throwback. It's become timeless.

126610 41mm wears noticeably larger than the 40mm 116610. Namely due to the 21mm lug width and 18mm clasp in the 12. And they did do away with the cyclops. It’s called the 4060.
