I completely believed on the pretrib rapture for 35 years, no question at all. I Thought those who thought otherwise had a big problem in their theology. All my friends believed the same. Funny, unexpected thing happened... the Lord got my attention and showed me will will be here for much of the trib. before the rapture. Now I'm in trouble with my friends! We are promised persecution(thilipsis) by man and Satan from the Lord (John 16:33) but will never experience His wrath. Scripture references make a lot more sense now. I really believe there is a rapture that going to take place. There are true Christians on this earth that live there life in righteousness very little including born again Christians. God won’t let his people suffer through the tribulations just putting up with this world and being prosecuted is tough. They will be rewarded Heavenly for there loyalty to Jesus Christ. only people that ignore Jesus Christ and live in the world all there life will be left behind to suffer through the tribulations. I can see thousands of people going to church begging for forgiveness when it’s too late repent now and accept Jesus Christ in your life. Now!!

Isn't gog magog war Ezekiel 38 prophesy post millenial cross reference with revelation 20 where it states it's post millenial and that got is all the nations
here is some questions I like to bring up when discussing certain things in the bible ,certain things that I hope make people think ,ie, if god says to Abraham your descendants shall be like the sands upon the sea shore ,innumerable ,then where are they , why do we in the west follow a Judea ,Christian religion from the middle east which you would think has nothing to do with us ?. if only the saved , at christs return who are now changed to immortal spiritual beings and inherit the kingdom of god here on earth ,why does he have to rule the nations with a rod of iron .why aren't countries like America ,Britain ,Australia, Canada, New zealand mentioned in bible prophecy ,since they, having such a global impact on the world with the advent of the industrial revolution , something to think about ?
The question here if I understand it clearly is whether the prophecy of Ezechiel 38 is the armaggedon war. Let me explain in a few words: for those who believe and teach that Ezechiel 38 and 39 are an other battle different from the Armageddon battle, i want to let you know you are all mistaken yourselves, for there are clues altogether in both books of Ezechiel and Revelation that demonstrate and prove that Ezechiel 38 is the prophecy related to the Armageddon war.
It is already a mistake to talk about only Ezechiel 38, since the prophecy is found in 2 chapter, 38 and 39. So that prophecy is encode in chapter 38 and 39 of the book of Ezechiel. Thus, the the question should rather be, whether Ezechiel 38 and 39 are the armageddon battle? Look! In Ezechiel 39, in verse 4, and verse 17 to 20, we found an interesting clue that resolve the problem, comparing to Revelation 19, verse 17 to 18. Both these verses of both these books speak and teach the same thing. It is all about the great supper or the sacrifice prepares by God, where his special guests are the birds and fowls in the sky that must satisfy themselves of the flesh body of the military kings and chiefs, the migthy ones and the heros.
Brothers you should see that both Ezechiel and Revelation speak about the Armageddon battle. These are not two different battles actually ( Ez. 39: 4, 17 to 20; Rev. 19: 17 to 18). The prophecy of Ezechiel 38 and 39 is the foretold battle of which apostle John is speaking about in the book af Revelation chapter 19, whether it is called Armageddon Battle or not. It true the name Armageddon is not mentioned in Ezechiel prophecy, nor the book of Revelation, but yet the event and the facts of the prophecy show and prove it relates to the same prophecy Revelation 19: 17- 18, Ezechiel 39: 4, 17-20 for both they speak about the same thing: the judgement of the super powers and the military kings and chiefs of the earth. This is the judgement of the political world or the judgement of the nations, which is without doubt the Armageddon war foretold in both the book of Ezechiel ( chapt 38 and 39) and Revelation ( chapt 19). Please do not mislead and misteach the people.
Understand this: the contents of the message that testify the Armageddon war are alike both in Ezehiel and Revelation: " Ezechiel 39: 17-20" : 17 And, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord God; Speak unto every feathered fowl, and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, even a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood.
18 Ye shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bullocks, all of them fatlings of Bashan.
19 And ye shall eat fat till ye be full, and drink blood till ye be drunken, of my sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you.
20 Thus ye shall be filled at my table with horses and chariots, with mighty men, and with all men of war, saith the Lord God.
In the book of Revelation though, the message and the invitation are the same as Ezechiel's.
Revelation 19: 17-18: " And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;
18 That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great ". The word "sacrifice" and the word " supper" have jusy the same spiritual meaning, they refer both to the activity and event.
Many are those who identify the prophecy of Ezechiel 38 and 39 as the WW3, and consequently is different from the prophecy of Revelation 19 in their sight. They are completely wrong and mistaken themselves. Review your book please, and let the Spirit of God lead your path in the holy Scripture. This is not men knowledge and uninersity education, but the holy Spirit's.

I thought that the Battle of Armageddon with happen at the end of the 1000 year reign on earth. Did I miss something?

The beast can not prevail against the church. On the basis of a post trib or mid trib rapture, which one of the above scriptures is wrong? Revelation 2 ; 18 And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, 22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and those that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. And please explain what this scripture would be doing in the bible if the whole church were to here for ANY part of the 7 years of Jacob's trouble? How can you send a church INTO tribulation if the whole church is still on earth? The 1st 69 weeks were for the Hebrews and Jerusalem , however does the church get fitted into the 70th week ? The only way would by way of replacement theology! Revelation 2 22 . Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, EXCEPT they repent of their deeds. Jesus said HE will cast those who refuse to repent into Great Tribulation, EXCEPT they repent. Good points. It looks like the
ministry of the 144,000 Jewish evangelists (not the church?) will win millions
to the Lord, as John learned in Rev. 7, but these appear as souls in white
garments before the throne of God, having been slain in the Great Tribulation.
That seems to be that last half of
the seven years when the mark of the beast is mandatory or be killed. During
that time, too, is when Satan is cast into the earth, indwells the Antichrist
and rages against Israel, killing 2/3 of them and chasing 1/3 into hiding in
the wilderness (Rev. 12). Also see Zechariah 12 and 13. This is the time, also,
at the half-way mark of the seven years that this Antichrist, propelled by the
indwelling Satan, who must have a body to indwell since he is a spirit, will
cancel the temple sacrifices and enter the temple and declare himself God,
demanding worship by all who have taken the mar of the beast. Without the mark,
they will die. Will any survive, but only the third of the Jews in the hiding
place in the wilderness? That is a question that needs some careful study.
Gene Lawley After the tribulation, when Christ comes to the earth, there IS NO RAPTURE of the living! The living believers all go into the 1000 years reign of Christ on earth! He comes back with the saints who were all already caught up (both the dead in Christ and the living)...those who are left on the earth are both saved and unsaved mortals.....We know this because Matthew 25:31-41 talks about HIS "judging of the nations" THAT BEING the sheep and goats judging! We know the sheep (mortals) are welcomed into the 1000 year millennium. The goats are sent to a place of torments where they will be raised after the millennium for the GREAT white throne judgment...IF the POST trib rapture were true there would be NO ONE left on earth except the ungodly. This would mean the judging of the nations wouldn't be necessary! The POST trib rapture scenario doesn't follow scripture! There has to be mortal survivors and believers left on earth for this to happen, its that simple. Only a pre-tribulation view allows that to be true. Matthew 25; 31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:32 And before him shall be gathered all NATIONS: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: Hope this helps. Paul Ryan If the way you come with these things forth is certain, my question for you would be: Did ancien Rome ( the Beast) prevail against the primitive Church when they persecuted them by sacrificing them, torturing them, killing and exiling them? Same question: Did the Roman Catholicism prevail in midle age against those who fought and stood for the truth of the word of God? Go and check your history and come back to answer me. When the beast kills you, he physically prevails, because you are dead, but spiritually you overcome the Beast by your death as Jesus overcame the red dragon, this same beast, by his death and his resurrection from the deads, and this is what the prophecy foretold since the begining in the Garden kf Eden, when in Genesis 3: 15, God said in advance the way Satan will bite the Seed of the woman in his heel, which is death. Go and check Revelation 12, verse 10 to 11. Just know when we die for the gospel sake, this how while living for Christ in this wicked world we overcome Satan, who in his eyes think he prevails against us, for he does not know the mystery hiden in the death of those who die for Christ sake. When we die for Christ sake, this is called eternal victory, thus we overcome the world and Satan the prince of the world.
The scripture you mentioned in the beginning refers only to the Catholic Church and it so because Christ only founded one Church not many. All others were founded by men.
If the war is before the rapture believers will fight in this war.
as romantic as that sounds (and as awesome as it would be) i fear that the believers in the USA will be in ruins and in a full civil war or destroyed by some kind of Natural Disaster/EMP/Terrorist Attack. IMHO (granted there are believers in Europe and Asia for sure.

It is interesting how Ezekiel 38
describes the attitude of Gog in the far north. His back is turned away from
the Middle East, he is in a sense of defeat, without interest in doing
anything. God puts hooks in his jaws, turns him around and sets his view upon
Israel and builds in his heart a desire to plunder and take bounty from Israel.
If that is future, how will it come
about, for Gog (Russia) is already in the Middle East and has alliances already
in place? It occurs to me that Russia was in an attitude of defeat and turned
away from the Middle East when the Soviet Union fell apart and left Russia
again a single nation and without he4r “glory.”
Putin has turned Russia around,
looked at Israel and its gas and oil reserves, and has moved into the region,
ready for that moment when there is no defense for Israel and she relaxes in a
false sense of peace (her walls of defense are not there).
The Rapture will occur when the
covenant is confirmed and Israel says, “Peace and safety,” for they will
believe they have seven years of peace.
God will destroy those armies against
Israel and they will be burning the tools of war for seven years. In Daniel 12
we see that 75 days have been added to the end of that last one-half of the
seven years. Perhaps this will allow for the complete cleanup before the Lord
sets up his kingdom there.
God’s foretold plan is a seventh head
of the beast, and this exercise is another step to give the Antichrist a more
open pathway to that one world government that he Alone will control as the
eighth head of the beast (Rev. 17:10-11). But believers of the church age, the
times of the Gentile3s, will not be there to endure it.

Why is it that the ones who promote a false doctrine always claim to be closer to god than anyone?? Does the Bible support your version, no, and the reasons are in the verses below.
Ezekiel:38 and the Gog war. Ezekiel:38 is for the 1,000 year reign and the 'battle' that comes when Satan and all remaining fallen angels in the Pit are released and joined by the ones whose bones are buried in a graveyard in Israel in Ezekiel:39.
The people that are there at the end of the chapter are the ones at the start of the chapter that complete the 7 year clean-up and the 7 months of gathering some bones and burying them in a special graveyard that has the name Gog attached to it. The bones belong to the 4 fallen angels that manifest into the 200M horsemen and it is by these being that the 12 Tribes are brought down to being just the 144,000. By the evening of the day Jesus returns and kills all sinners the whole House of Israel will be alive and standing in Israel.
If Gog does not exist until 7 years into the 1,000 year reign then they cannot be in a war at the start because part of the vials is the river of blood and that is the death of those angelic horsemen. There are a few clues in Eze:38 that it is the 1,000 years such as Jerusalem is an unwalled city during that time and it is only during that time that the people are living in safety for the first time. An earlier reference to Damascus being part of prophecy that you believe is happening either means you are working off materials somebody has handed you or you missed more than a passage or two of Scripture. The bones of men that dies as part of the return do not have their bones gathered and placed in the City of Gog.
Damascus is 1 Gentile city mentioned when all Gentile cities are also flattened. Jerusalem is the first one and it is hit with the same fire that God used on Sodom.

Right after the 6th seal breaks and Gog's 10 nation armies are destroyed by God. 1/2 hour Silence and then the 7th seal which ushers in the 7 trumpets.

Who's to say that though it will be known that God Himself protects Israel during the Gog/Magog war, that the Anti Christ won't claim to be the source of their 'win' as he also proclaims himself as god?

You say Ezekiel 38 and 39 is a future war. You say the passage is literal, referring to literal nations fighting a literal war in the literal future and we are to understand that. It’s not spiritual in meaning it is literal. But then as soon as I point out this literal war includes horses and bows and arrows and chariots you immediately turn around and say, “Well, those terms are not literal they are spiritual and mean tanks and jeeps and cannons.
You are contradicting yourself in order to make the prophecy fit your belief in futurism. You have told all your Christian friends if the literal sense makes plain sense seek no other sense, but as soon as I point out the literal subjects that give us the timeline of an ancient war you always come back and change your rule for interpretation and say, that’s spiritual.

Good job but it is a mistake to be so certain the rapture will occur first. Such a belief may cause some Christians to be fooled by the anti-Christ or to lose faith if they experience extreme persecution or tribulation.

i don't think that rapture will happen physically, bcoz if it will since everyone knows its the sign of Jesus Christ's 2nd comming, when it happens everyone will change instantly and the wars or tribulation will not take place

Both replacement theology and dispensationalism are not biblical. Biblically we, the gentiles that believe in Jesus, together with the Jews that believed in Jesus are Israel. As Paul says we where drafted into Israel by faith in Jesus.

Yes Sr. The word dispensation does appear in the Bible. The way dispensationalism uses the word is not biblical. Thank you for citing the Bible. However things must be understood in context. The dispensation means that God was making the Gentiles participants of the inheritance of His people Eph 3:7. The context makes this clear. Replacement theology is not biblical, I agree, but, dispensationalism is. Many have different definitions for dispensationalism, when it comes to salvation, I believe it has always been the object of faith according to the scriptures. But, you can't mark out replacement theology and dispensationalism at the same time. If we (the church) have not replaced Israel (which we have not) than there will have to be another dispensation, the tribulation. We are in the age of grace, there is "no difference between the Jew and the Greek " right now, but, soon after the tribulation God will call out 144,000 Jewish men out of every tribe except the tribe of Dan to go out and preach the gospel of the Kingdom. The rapture divides the dispensation of Grace, to the dispensation of the tribulation.

There will be no pre tribulation rapture that is false teaching. The elect of God will go through 3 and 1/2 years of great tribulation. This is the main harvest. Why would ALL the Christians be raptured out before the tribulation? Jesus tells us that a great crowd comes out of the tribulation, having been cleansed in the blood of the lamb, it says those who endure to the end, who refuse the mark of the beast, will be saved..It's a time of great testing indeed, Christ said he comes as a laundry man, to bring true Christians through the fire of affliction. None escape testing by being raptured, we all must endure his coming, his will test the quality of our faith at this time..After we have endured Christ's angels will intervene on our behalf..The so called rapture is for the remaining 144,000 anointed who in a twinkling of an eye joins Jesus in heaven, for the final Battle, as kings and priests of the most high Jehovah/Yehowah...
In 1st Thessalonians 4:18, the Bible says to “comfort” one another with these words. Certainly, there would be no comfort knowing that one would have to suffer all the atrocities of the Tribulation Period. It will be a time of woeful torment and misery, unprecedented in human history. Just as God removed Noah and his family before the flood came and the wicked were destroyed, so will He remove the saints from the earth. Just as God removed Lot and his family before Sodom and Gomorrah were utterly destroyed, so will He remove the saints from the earth. God will remove the church prior to the 7-year Tribulation period.
