    Eggless Rava Coconut Cake Recipe | Eggless Semolina and Coconut Cake Recipe | Coconut and Semolina Cake Recipe | How to make Rava cake
    A simple Coconut cake recipe that has no flour or eggs. It's so moist and delicious, you can enjoy it plain or simply top it up with a thin layer of buttercream and desiccated coconut.

    Coconut Semolina Cake (Eggless)
    Ingredients
    200 ml warm milk (1 cup)
    150 grams Powdered Sugar (3/4 cup)
    100 grams fine sooji/Rava/semolina (1/2 cup)
    100 grams of desiccated coconut (1 cup)
    2 tbsp butter (salted)
    1/2 cup Yogurt
    1/2 tsp Baking powder
    1/4 tsp Baking soda
    1/2 tsp Vanilla essence
    1/2 tsp Rose essence
    For Buttercream:
    Combine 3 tbsp Icing Sugar with 1 tbsp Butter (read 1 tbsp in the video also). Beat with a fork till you get a smooth buttercream. Adjust butter and sugar accordingly.
    You could also use whipped cream.

    Baking bottom rod on or both rods on...???

      Margaret... depends on your oven. If your oven has a fan then bake with both rods. Otherwise only the lower rod. Switch the upper rod for browning the top of the cake

    Hi, if I double this recipe, will I be able to slice it into layers to make a layered cake? I was wondering if it would crumble unlike cakes with regular flour.

      Hi... I suggest you bake two cakes and layer them. Cakes with sooji tend to easily crumble
