Wow, i cant believe that your installation method is exactly what i did earlier today, South African time, im only seeing your vid now, to compare my work and i can say im proud of myself, for not doubting myself and having a person who trusts me as my first time faix loc client.
@@stacybarbosa3596 you have to make an opening with the crochet hook, and in that same opening, take the end of the braid and hook it on then pull it and keep doing that until your braid is finished
I really appreciate someone who showed and didn’t wrap the it again. I just bought a few packs of butterfly locs thinking who such a easy process until I watched a couple videos and became discouraged I would have bought a different kinda hair faster hair that is so thank you
TYSVM!! Thank god your tutorial popped up in my search because i was about to loose hope..My niece has been literally begging me since this summer to do butterfly locs for her back to school debut❤❤..This is by far the Best detailed review on the entire youtube platform and the only tutorial that can honestly do🙏🏾Ty!Ty!Ty!!
Thank you. As a single mom of a mixed child I’m learning how to maintain her 4c hair and I often don’t have the money to get her hair done in some of these styles, so I’m self teaching myself. And I want to thank you for the tutorial. I’m going to try myself ❤looks super easy.I’ve done boxbraids but this is a new world. But watching your video a few times I’m very confident my baby will be able to Rick butterfly like the rest of the girls
I’m in Texas,North Richland Hills areas don’t it’s exactly how I do mines on my clients and kids hair ! And yes you have to know the exact size to braid the clients hair or the struggle to pull through is real. The size of the braids are a bit too big for me but all in all they’re waaay faster than wrapping them! 5-6 is what I usually use though! ❤️ it ! Great job!
Pana!!! OMG!! I been tryna figure out how to hide the braid without having to buy more hair. You ARE THE BOMB💣!! Thank You soooooo much I'm finna go try this now! Hopefully I don't mess them up cuz I sure am a beginner lmao. I been doing them myself and they came out beautiful but this my 1st time buying them prelooped. Wish me luck yall!
Thank you for this video. It helped me a whole lot with completing my own install. Love all of your videos and the fun you have along the way keep doing what you doing and forever inspire.
Oh my gosh, you were a godsend for this video because I installed some in my hair for the first time, and every braid kept slipping back out until I went back through them and did them using your method❤
This is super cute! I did locs on myself, like the ones where you wrap the Marley hair around the deep wave hair and omg never again. But I will give this a try. I keep forgetting that crochet is convenient.
@@spongebob8157 no it won’t just make sure the rubber bands aren’t tight and you should be fine! 😊 also soak the hair if you tend to be allergic to it .
OMG thanks so much for making this video. I wasn't sure if you install these locs like the godless locs individually. I only do my daughter's hair in individual plait pre loop crochets this is her next style. Thanks for sharing.
for individual crochet i like to add the hair to the root of my section and then plait around it. that way i dont have to pull anything through and theres no loop at the base
Thanks so much for this video! I'm about to try this style out. My only concern is if its hard to take down when it's time. Due to crocheting the braid inside of the butterfly loc
@@jaleesajohnson6733 I actually used this method and it was about 2.5 packs or one of those double packs of hair. I literally counted the amount of twists and made sure to have that many braids in the hair.
Hi Pana, love the video! You always provide great content and information. I've learned so much watching you videos. Would you recommend doing an ACV soak for us with sensitive scalps????
This is heaven sent. My daughter was wearing me out with the knotless box braids, and I needed to reclaim my time! Thank you!
"Reclaim my time" 😂
Game changer! I’m a hairstylist and this is style is my most requested style. Will save me so much time!
Yes!!
Can you buy the butterfly locs like that in hair stores
@@A.alyanna._ yeah

how would you go about removing these ?, basically the take down process
Depending on how long they are cut the bottom and just pull the weave out idk if that makes since
Just got box braids and now I wanna take them out just to get these lol 😂😍

U just taught me how to crochet thank you 😊 ❤
Thanks, this was helpful because we now know we need two different lengths to make them uniform 💪
I plan on doing my hair like this for my Birthday 🥳
What inch locs are these?
I asked my momma for these 😂😂 she said after my older brothers bday and I know I’m not the only one who wasn’t all up in her clients phone 😭😭😭🤚🏾

This is beautiful and very neat. I'm gonna try and already have the hair. My only concern is pulling the braided hair through. That part looks hard.
Beautiful. I’m wondering how to take them out now.
Thanks for saying how to get a blunt bob. Will be using 10,12, and 14in

Beautiful how do you take them out and can you reuse the hair?
Thank you for this. But how will one take it out when its time to loose them
They look more natural not being in the blunt / same length fashion. I like these!!
I always like then watch😆
You always making my braid life better ❤️
Thanks for the video. What would be the best way to take them out if pulling the natural hair with the dread?
Cut the top of the loc and pull the braid out. I’ll post a take down video
That’s awesome and it really looks bomb, and you are so fly sis❤️ you’re work.
Thank youuuu ma’am, I’ve been looking for this tutorial because I forgot my water wave hair
Suggestions on braiding yourself. I want to do this style on myself but am afraid that my parting will be crazy.

On fleek love it. I got the crochet part but to put the braid in middle of the faux loc is a problem for me...I cant get it..but you lit you lit
Same here I couldn’t get mine in. I guess it’s the type of locs she used or the brand
