This has been missing for along time, it used to be on youtube I think, but disappeared years ago. Somebody had commented under the old video that Phils mic is louder here so you can hear his voice really well for a change.

Man sieht, das Phil sich voll auf Don konzentrieren muß. Sieht aus als ob Don nicht ganz da ist

How sad, stuck doing old songs - at the behest of the TV produces no doubt.

@@lesleyvass8739 You think? I think they would have been peeved having to keep rehashing their old material instead being given a fair opportunity to promote their current material. Except for notable shows like Hullabaloo and Where The Action Is, the boys had limited opportunity to promote their newer recordings, especially in the late '60s and early '70s where they seem to be increasingly shown as a 'nostalgia' act. Just my opinion. It was hard enough for them to get radio play as it was. So many great recordings just were not given sufficient promotion. Just the way it was. I love them anyway. Just a shame they weren't getting the recognition in those that they deserved.

@@grantwilletts5669 Same thing after they re-united in 1983. They recorded 3 albums in the 1980s which barely made a ripple. One of the songs - “On The Wings Of A Nightingale” - had been written for them by Paul McCartney. It had “hit” written all over it and I don’t recall it ever being played on the radio. Maybe it was but I just don’t remember it. The album they recorded in 1988 called “Some Hearts” which is my personal favorite of their 1980s albums, never even charted. To their credit, they continued touring until 2005. I saw them in 1993 at Radio City Music Hall in NYC and one of my few life regrets is not having seen them more often.
